In the summer of 1960 Mary opened her first shop in Northgate, Hartelpool. Today we are located in Villiers Street, Hartlepool where we started our journey into fish & chips in 2012. We still follow those first rules of quality 60 years later, from the hand cut coleslaw, homemade tartare sauce to hand baked artisan breads quiches & pastries and our special blend of batter we use on our award winning fish.
With a commitment to serve only fresh, sustainable, Cod and Haddock, we have gained a loyal following and accumulated several awards along the way. Awards include Hartlepool's best Fish & Chips every year from 2016-2020, Fry Magazines Top 50 and Winner in National Fish and Chip Awards. Our contemporary restaurant is spacious and can accommodate more than 100 guests.
