The Flamingo Bakery

Based in the North Yorkshire countryside, in between Ripon and Thirsk, The Flamingo Bakery creates luxury wedding cakes and favours all tailor-made to suit your special day. We cover a wide area including the whole of Yorkshire so our lovely rural location is only our base during the week.

We offer a variety of unique flavours to choose from, all of which can be found on our 'Flavours' page and we use fresh, local ingredients wherever possible to ensure that all our cakes will not only look amazing but taste delicious too.To achieve this we have teamed up with a local preserve supplier to offer you a selection of Yorkshire jams and curds, which are free from artificial ingredients.

At The Flamingo Bakery we specialise in creating luxury wedding cakes, ensuring that each cake is tailored specifically to your special day. From an initial sketch we design your cake to include any aspects of your wedding you choose from simple colour palettes to family crests. Each detail is carefully added to the design and can be as subtle or significant as you wish.

We specialise in making personalised favours to add that bespoke edge for any event such as Weddings, Engagement Parties, Hen Parties, Bridal Showers, Children's Parties and Corporate Events. Our biscuits all come individually wrapped in cellophane bags with matching ribbon, making them a perfect gift to take away from any occasion.

Moist vanilla sponge infused with madagascan vanilla bean syrup, filled with a fluffy vanilla buttercream and raspberry preserve. Moist coconut and lime sponge filled with zesty lime curd and a delicate coconut buttercream. Moist almond sponge filled with fluffy vanilla bean buttercream, a layer of thinly rolled marzipan and finished with black cherry preserve.

Although all our cakes are bespoke and are therefore priced individually, we have set up a pricing guide below to give you an idea of the cost of our cakes. Each cake size has a starting price. Prices are based on a simple, iced sponge cake of our standard 6'' depth, decorated with a small collection of flowers, trimmed with ribbon and displayed on an iced cake board.
