Gigajam's Essential Keyboard Skills Course can be followed from the comfort of your own home.
Gigajam, in partnership with the University of West London/London College of Music produce the first entirely online series of graded music examinations. Available for guitar, bass, keyboard and drums the UWL/LCM are able to award music qualifications to learners who complete their grades with Gigajam.
When logged in, students and teachers are taken to their Portfolio/Locker, where you can choose to review your last uploaded work, choose which instrument lessons to study and manage your account with us. You should have a look around the music school and familiarise yourself with its layout. There is a top bar, that takes you to the content pages for each of your instrumental lessons - guitar, bass, keyboard and drums.

The course we provide is for rock and pop playing. It assumes both electric and acoustic learners. The course is demonstrated on the electric guitar and includes skills learned by students learning to play rock guitar and some of the skills are more suitable for electric guitar.

You can record your performances from a digital instrument with General MIDI, using either a USB cable or MIDI connections, depending on your instrument.
