Padstow Museum
Padstow Museum was formed in 1971 by a group of Padstonians from an idea by retired local shipwright (Bill Lindsey). The museum is an independently run charity, Reg No 278575 - we receive no government subsidies and are completely dependant on any donations at the door and from our supporters. We have accreditation status with the Arts Council England.

The museum is staffed by a dedicated body of volunteers under the chairmanship of local historian John Buckingham (Bard). There are five appointed trustees who are responsible for the overall administration of the Padstow Museum. Our mission is to welcome all, especially our younger generation, to record and project the Social History of this unique seaport.
