The Depot Bakery is an artisan bakery, retail and brunch eatery space in a gorgeous, renovated industrial space. We carefully pair a specialty coffee offering with a range of bespoke baked goods and an inspired brunch menu. We also love to make custom celebration cakes and cater for events. Considering every element that we plate, we champion locally-sourced produce and collaborate to develop an exciting and delicious menu.
Our passionate and dedicated team of baristas enjoy developing our recipes and serving up the best coffee, from our friends at Ozone and Hasbean roasteries. Our team of artisan bakers produce countless sourdoughs, loaves inspired by international tradition, cakes and ptisserie in our Burton Road premises, for our sister site Tamper, and for a network of like-minded independent businesses.

Food was great and lovely atmosphere. Bit confusing when we walked in wether we were meant to grab a table or be seated and there were a few people standing around not sure. We just sat down and that seemed to be fine.
Star of the show was the bread, absolutely incredible! Good range of toasties, sandwiches, cakes and specials.

Just a heads up to anyone wanting brunch. They’ve stopped serving eggs after 1PM. We got here at 1:15 and they wouldn’t budge; even though the kitchen staff where stood around with nothing to do. Given how many other customers where requesting menu items with poached eggs I’m sure this policy will be reversed soon. It’s a real shame as their bread is lovely. Hence why an egg to dip it into is a real treat when you’re hungover on a Sunday. A good alternative is Cutlery Works where you can get a breakfast burger (which comes with a lovely runny egg) until 3 PM.

Just shy of a 5 because the salted beef was a bit too spicy for my liking and I thought it could do with marginally less seasoning (can’t believe those words came out of my mouth) and we waited for quite a while. Everything else was amazing. The bread is to die for, the coffee was so smooth and the sandwiches well filled.

Depot is one of our favourite coffee shops in Sheffield. It is on Burton Road (sometimes a bit of a struggle parking) where at the minute, seems to be lots of different bits popping up so it's always worth a look around. Depot sells its own artisan bread which always sells out. The mocha is my absolute go to drink so I can recommend that! The sourdough toast for 2 with vegemite is also a firm favourite though recently we have had their meatball sarnie and the pakora bagel, both have been beautiful. They have a selection of what I call 'bunnage'... so much to choose from and I'm sure something to

I went to the depot eatery for Sunday brunch after a night in Sheffield. It was a 15min walk from the centre into the industrial area. It was fairly easy to find using google maps. We were greeted by a warehouse filled will tables and chairs in the usually industrial manor. The space main operation is a bakery which i think they supply to local business. But you can purchase the fresh breads and cakes in the restaurant. The menu was simple. Poached egg and bacon for me. With a choice of sourdough, rye or bloomer. The 15min wait for food was expected as the place was full. Good customer service

The Depot Eatery is a hidden little gem, situated near to Kelham Island, in an old depot that's been refurbed into a specious cafe / deli with bench seating. The venue is bright, clean & smells of fresh bread. The perfect spot to set up for your laptop enjoy some fresh coffee & a selection of hot and cold food.
We nipped in for breakfast and I went for an organic elderflower drink with a ham & cheese toastie like I've never had before. Freshly cooked, melt in your ham hock with their very own home baked bread.
If I lived nearby to the Depot Eatery I would definitely be a
