Advantage Childrens Day Nursery
Our mission was to create a childcare facility that sets new standards in design and quality. We believe Advantage is just that. We offer award-winning, inclusive nursery care and pre-school education for children from the age of 3 months up until their first term in Reception. Come and visit and you'll discover a bright and welcoming nursery and pre-school that encourages fun, learning and interaction between the children, staff and parents.

Conveniently located just off the A3 in Tolworth, we are within easy reach of Kingston-upon-Thames, Surbiton, Esher, Claygate, Hinchley Wood, Chessington, New Malden, Thames Ditton and surrounding areas of Surrey. We're so proud of our staff here at Advantage. Our fully qualified carers receive on-going professional development with in-house reviews that produce fresh ideas on childcare, safety and early years education.
Services
The quality of the care team at Advantage has been as carefully planned as the nursery itself. Advantage Day Nursery and Pre-School was planned and built in 2003 by a team of childcare professionals who were passionate about setting new standards in the design of children's nursery facilities.

Our nursery manager, Hazel, was involved in the project from the outset, calling on her wealth of experience to create a warm and friendly environment where quality childcare could be delivered seamlessly.
Pre-school and nursery facilities at Advantage are bright and welcoming to encourage interaction and enhance learning. Each of our rooms has been individually designed for a specific age group, with furnishings, equipment and toys selected to stimulate and enhance children's learning at each stage.
At Advantage, we promote the government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which ensures your child's early years experience is fun, happy, active and secure. Quite simply, it is an exciting learning journey your child goes through between birth and age five.

Within EYFS, all early years professionals (nurseries, childminders, pre-schools) must ensure your child is kept healthy and safe and develops skills ready for school and the future. The first three areas are important for children to develop initially, as these will help them to develop skills in the remaining four specific areas as they grow.
A healthy, balanced diet is essential if children are to have the energy to develop, learn and grow. At Advantage, we take nutrition seriously. Our experienced, award-winning chef works in partnership with a nutritionist and the nursery manager to create wholesome, healthy and balanced menus which the children love.
At Advantage, we want to work together with parents and carers to help support the learning and development of all the children. We offer a variety of options to help you find a timetable of care that works for your family. Care is available on a full-time or part-time basis, between 7:30am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Our daughter attended Advantage for over 1.5 years and she left for school in September 2020 with lots of confidence and skills that she had gained from her time there.
It is a big nursery, but it has the feel of a much smaller setting because of the excellent room and reception staff. The quality of the facilities and toys is brilliant and they take pride in maintaining equipment, revamping outdoor spaces and areas.
In our daughters preschool room, the staff/key-workers were stable for the whole year so we were met by the same friendly faces every day who knew our daughter well and took fantastic

Advantage day nursery is a very good nursery with very friendly and professional staff. I have put 2 of my daughters in the nursery, one being 14 years old now and 1 being 2 years old who is currently attending the nursery. The staff have always gone above and beyond to make my daughters feel settled and safe. I would highly recommend this nursery to others and have done over the years.

Both of my children attended Advantage for a number of years, the youngest leaving for school in September. I cannot rate the nursery highly enough!! Excellent play areas both inside and outside, fantastic staff, yummy food and a singing chef - what more could your children want!

Both my children went to Advantage (one boy and one girl) and both absolutely loved their time there. The staff were always accommodating and helpful and clearly genuinely really care about the kids. Don’t be put off by the exterior look and the size of the building; have a look inside before passing judgement. There are really good amenities for the kids but also the parents such as ample parking which many other nurseries in the area don’t have. I have often recommended Advantage to other parents.

Had a mixed experience. Nursery was clean and sparking, and food menu looked amazing. Having said that, my daughter didnt have a single good week there. She was a good eater at home but we had several days when she would not eat even a mouthful there. From what heard from other parents (and apologetic staff), many babies rejected the food as menu was too complex for their palette. Plus she was always having one infection after another. The size of their rooms were too big (15-20 in a room!) so more germs than a room with fewer number of kids. Took her off to another nursery and she was much better

They may offer good service but there is big discrimination when it comes to paying its staff. Gender pay gaps are huge here for no obvious reasons. I don't work here and I have no connection with them. I am writing this because of confirmed word of mouth from 5 different sources

This is an excellent nursery which although is massive, the child care is very personal. I have 2 children in this nursery as well as my nephew and they all enjoy it. The staff are open to feedback in a non defensive manner and immediately make changes to meet that feedback. They have a lot of actives and and a large garden and most importantly a decent car park for rush hour picks up and drop offs!!
