Keeping a sewing machine in a Horn cabinet provides the pleasure of owning a useful and aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture, which is a large enough cupboard within which to store all your essential haberdashery needs. Because of the Horn air-lifter, it also allows you to operate your sewing machine at correct sewing posture heights.

Great shop, really helpful and knowledgeable staff. Upstairs you'll fi d sewing machines, tools, notions etc, and downstairs a good selection of quilting fabrics downstairs (not a lot of dressmaking fabrics). There are also two reserved customer parking spaces at the back (drive around the Triangle car park), you can go in from the back door.

I can’t recommend Exeter Sew Machine Company enough! I was looking for a new embroidery machine and emailed some questions which were very quickly replied too. I went ahead and ordered a brother embroidery machine on preorder, I was kept up to date on progress and the machine arrived a lot quicker than I expected. I had a few teething problems… which I was helped with straight away. Over the weekend the machine decided it wasn’t going to behave so I took it to the shop today to be looked at. Everyone was so friendly and helpful in there and the fabrics are amazing! Machine was

A delightful shop with a lovely crafted sign to let you know they are open. The shop is packed top to bottom with sewing machines, tie dyes, buttons, thread, you name it. Today was my 3rd visit but my first covid period visit so everyone wore masks. Being deaf, communication is difficult at the best of times but the guys in this shop were wonderful and created a safe space to talk. I felt totally respected and comfortable, I also found everything I wanted and MORE! This place is a gem, do visit.

An excellent company. Knowledgeable about their products, happy to share their expertise and lovely with it. They listened to what I wanted from a sewing machine and helped me make an informed choice.
The Know your sewing machine course I went on today was well paced, packed with hints and information yet allowing time for hands on practical work. Jenna the tutor was informative and clearly a dab hand at many aspects of sewing and related crafts. Tea and coffee were available and the public car park behind the shop was a bonus.
The shop is packed with a plethora of fabric, haberdashery and craft

This well placed dealer stocks a vast range of machines, overlockers and cabinets.
The fabric range is large - everything from bridal wear to outdoor fleetce. They also have staff who are very skilled in machine embroidery and associated software and are very eager to share their skills.
I think this would be a great place for a holiday visit.
