This practice handles medical records in-line with laws on data protection and confidentiality. We share medical records with those who are involved in providing you with care and treatment. In some circumstances we will also share medical records for medical research, for example to find out more about why people get ill.
We share information when the law requires us to do so, for example, to prevent infectious diseases from spreading or to check the care being provided to you is safe. You have the right to object to your medical records being shared with those who provide you with care. You have the right to object to your information being used for medical research and to plan health services.

Services
All surgeries are run on an appointment system. Appointments can be made by telephone or at the reception desk. You can choose to have either a face-to-face or a telephone consultation with the health professional of your choice. If the matter is urgent emergency appointments are available on the day.
When registering, please bring your NHS medical card to the Practice and those of any other persons registering with you. If you do not have a medical card, you will be asked to complete a registration form and a questionnaire for each person registering. The questionnaire allows us to provide medical care in the interim period, while your medical records are transferred from your previous Practice.
You will then need to order your prescription via www.patient-services.co.uk or send your completed repeat slip to us by post or hand it in to your chosen Pharmacy. Alternatively, you might prefer to telephone the 48-hour repeat prescription answer machine on 564236; please have the details of your medication to hand.
This is very common and usually follows awkward lifting or bending. Lying on a firm surface with a pillow under the knees can help as can paracetamol or ibuprofen. Consult a doctor if the pain persists, if the pain goes down the leg or there is a sudden difficulty in passing water or opening the bowels.
There is a Practice policy available which complies with the Children (Scotland) Act, for the treatment of children under 16. The Practice considers aggressive behaviour to be personal, abusive and/or aggressive comments, offensive language, physical contact and/or aggressive gestures.
The Practice will request the removal of any patient from the Practice list who is aggressive or abusive towards a doctor, member of staff, other patients, or who damages property. All instances of actual physical abuse by a patient or their relatives will be reported to the police as an assault. This scheme is available from reception.

By far the worse surgery in Perth, staff's level of skill, knowledge, and care is below standard. I seriously think they got to comfortable during the pandemic on phones to have any sort of communication skills face to face , as for compassion well you'd have more sympathy out a stone . I'd be ashamed to work here.
