Julian Phillips began studying piano tuning, restoration and repair in 1988 at The Welsh School of Musical Instrument Making and Repair and later gained full qualifications (CGLI) in piano tuning, repair, restoration, history and manufacturing set by The City and Guilds London Institute.
He became established in North Dorset in 1991, using traditional aural piano tuning technology and covering all aspects of piano work for both domestic and professional establishments in Dorset and its neighbouring counties.Julian also runs a small outlet for sales of used pianos, in particular Yamaha pianos imported from Japan.
