Happy Tree Academy is a purpose-built nursery, located on the premises of the Northwood Club. We cater for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. The nursery is set over two floors with two large, well equipped playrooms, dedicated baby facilities, a safe enclosed outdoor area and our new forest school.
Our meal and snack menus are balanced and nutritious, children have access to fresh fruit and water throughout the day. Services
Award-winning nursery group for parents in & around Northwood, Watford, Harrow, Ruislip, Pinner, Rickmansworth, Eastcote and surrounding areas. With over 25 years in childcare, quality is central to our ethos and the concept runs throughout everything we do at Happy Tree Academy. We employ a dedicated Quality Manager to ensure that every aspect of the nursery and its operation conforms to the very highest standards and industry best practices.
At Happy Tree Academy we utilise a secure online and smartphone app (Blossom) to inform parents of their child's learning, progress and development throughout the day whilst under our care in real time. The app documents the various activities that children have taken part in and gives parents updates on their child's eating habits, toileting as well as overall progress during their day.
The Chestnut Room is a spacious, fully equipped dedicated baby room catering for children aged 3 months to 2 years. We provide a safe and stimulating environment with qualified staff who understand the developmental needs of each individual child.
We provide activities that promote the prime and specific areas of development and an environment that supports the Characteristics of Effective Learning which are intrinsic to the Early Years Foundation Stage.Each child is supported with a key person who works closely with the parents in order to build the child's independence and confidence during these early years.

Our Forest School is a nature driven inspirational approach to learning that provides children to experience a natural environment. This experience helps children develop skills including independence, investigation and discovery, taking risks safely, expressing emotions, building self-esteem and care for natural environments.
When I pick my nephew up from Happy Tree, I can see he's had a great time. He's excited and doesn't stop talking about what he was playing with. I can see how his vocabulary has improved since starting at Happy Tree and it makes me giggle the way he keeps saying 'Let me think.' when I ask him something.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 10 months old. She started in the baby room and transitioned down to the pre school room. She has made incredible progress from taking her first steps to now learning to write her name with the support of such an amazing team. She has formed amazing friendships and looks forward to all the activities such as forest school, french and superstar sport sessions and recently really enjoyed a visit from the police! I would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents!

A big thank you to ALL the staff at Happy tree Academy for creating a wonderful safe environment for children to learn and educate through play. Our son has really gain confidence and really looks forward to coming into the nursery every morning and he especially loves the Forrest school. The meals provided are well balanced and healthy through out the day.

Amazing staff, really comforting knowing your child is well looked after throughout the day, not only are they caring and attentive but amazing teachers! Perfect hours for working parents! Extra curriculum activities provided including sports and forest sessions which my son loves! Health and filling meals provided throughout the day! Couldn't ask for anything more!

A great nursery for children to play, learn and eat healthy food. I sent both my 2 kids to this nursery and they love it! The staff is really good and go that extra mile to care for the kids and create a bond which helps in the learning development process. Thank you for your hard work Happy Tree Academy, keep it up.

My daughter started the nursery 2 weeks ago and I cannot believe how quickly she has settled there. The staff are just amazing! They have made the whole process so calming and personalised for my daughter. As a first time parent this has been just what I needed - they've worked so closely with me and given her so move that within 2 days of being there she was settled, laughing, smiling and enjoying her time there. Thank you to all the staff - you do an amazing job! I have definitely picked the right nursery for my daughter!

My daughter has been coming here since she was one (nearly two years now). She loves all the staff and always comes home happy and telling me about the activities she has done that day. They ensure the children do a range of activities including forest school, sports sessions and French and constantly provide updates on her progress against the early years foundation stage both through talking to is when we pick her up and through the blossom app that tells you exactly what shes done and eaten each day. they regularly post photos and developmental progress as well. would highly recommend this nursery

Excellent nursery with brand new facilities. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities feel very safe, warm and inviting. Fresh healthy food is also delivered in on a daily basis. There is also free parking and to top it off, the nursery is situated within a Health & Fitness Club, so you can have a workout and a swim after you've dropped the kids off!

Just a brilliant enviroment. My grandchild is encouraged through play to learn and explore, at own pace. The activities are so varied, imagantive, and engaging, letting my little one try different experiences, with friends. Learning to share & take turns with other children. Gaining confidence to explore, take risks tackling new tasks, independantly. The staff all excellent. I can only praise & recommend them to other parents
