I've lived in a StuartCo property for over 4 years now. I've always been treated well, by all the employees in the office. Have not had any problems with anything, honestly. If I move anywhere else I would stick with this management company because I know what to expect. It's hard to see such negative things being said but remember these people are upset about things and will say almost anything out of anger. I have always had any repairs done right away, and have been treated with respect.

I've been a tenant at Heritage Landing for a year and a half. I was harassed by one the tenants, sent an email to the property manager, no response. The property manager asked me to call him to discuss breaking my lease, he ended up hanging up in my face. I called corporate, they encourage the behavior if their employee feels the conversation isnt going anywhere or in a positive manner.
Spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty apartments with the same amenities and cost, where you are respected and valued as a tenant. StuartCo. is legitimately disgusting.

Lived at 2335 woodstone in St. Paul for 2 years staff was nice. Went through Multiple building managers, some better than others. We had a bike stolen out of the garage, they didn’t care.
The biggest thing was that they fill out the certificate of rent paid (CRP) for the rent rebate from the state wrong. They don’t include pet rent. I called the Minnesota department of Revenue to confirm they were doing it wrong. I sent Stuartco an email from an employee at the state stating stuartco was filling it out incorrectly, they didn’t care. I asked them to talk to the state, they said no. They said

After living at one of StuartCo's property Lamplighter Village I stayed there for nearly 7 years. Always put in a maintenance request when needed even with minor issues. Some times the property manager doesn't want to fix the issues and they tell me because I have kids. On the last days of moving out they do a pre inspection and another inspectionof the unit on day of move out. They did that and I turned my keys in. Weeks later I get a letter in the mail to my new forwarding address saying They took my Security deposit and used it to pay for these mysterious damages and that my deposit wasn't enough

This company is the worst I ever worked for. They say they care about their employees....well they don't care at all what a lie. HR...they don't have your back at all they do nothing for you here. Bad management. They slave drive you and keep adding work everyday and do a 2 person job. There is no teamworkat all and the mangers at York Plaza are not good people. They let me go with no reason at all and I busted my butt there. No communication at all. If you try to talk to the boss he don't want to hear nothing from you. I'm so happy to be away from this bad environment. I'm glad they let me go now

Be very cautious as others have said. To even apply for a property managed by StuartCo, you have to pay the security deposit before they will take your application. Once approved, if you decide you do not want to sign a lease with them, they will keep the "Security Deposit." Security Deposits in the state of Minnesota are required to be refundable. This is extremely predatory and unethical business practice. I am glad it only cost me a security deposit to avoid the poor ethics already seen, without even signing a lease...

It took weeks to get one of my deposits back because it was never received in the mail. When picking it up from the office eventually, I was told that if i received the original check it would not go through, as if I wanted to deposit both checks. I felt that was unnecessary. As previous reviews state, I would be careful when dealing with this management.

I rented an apartment at 1305 Olive Lane N for the last two years. Apartment living was new to me an older adult. The management at the location in Plymouth MN was so great. Truthfully I consideration them Friends as they took care of everything right away, cheerfully and with great respect for me. Maintenance was always done quickly, carefully and also cheerfully. My short time there was a good and thanks to all experience .
The property is known as Coachman trails.

I agree with the previous review. There are many unethical practices here. I have lived at York Plaza for about 22 months and moving very soon. When I rented the leasing agent misled me about several of the amenities. She also stated the heating was paid. However, it is not paid and my electricity bill is several hundred dollars more each year than expected. Some of my neighbors were told this is a non-smoking building when it is not. The management will also place charges on your account without your knowledge. If you question them, expect to be bullied. There are several deficiencies in my apartment
