As a School Community, we are very proud of the work we do and hope by looking at some of the examples we share on this site, you will be able to get a flavour of what life is like. Our school is a very happy place, where our dedicated team of skilled professionals work tirelessly to ensure that children are at the very heart of everything we do.
Our school vision is summed up in the phrase "Everyone Cares, Everyone Matters" and when you visit our school, you will see this vision lived out by every individual. Marsden Primary School welcomed comments from recent OFSTED inspectors, who noticed that "The care and support provided by staff at the school is of the highest quality.".

Smart Academy is a large imaginary secondary school in the heart of the English countryside. We have 1,223 students on role who come from mainly fictitious families. We have been judged as an oustanding school 3 times by OFSTED and this is down to our imaginative use of ICT and quality of teaching and learning.
Marsden Primary School, situated in Whitburn, Tyne and Wear. The school is located in a wonderful location, with a coastal view and a short distance from Whitburn Village and South Shields. The school has a Nursery which has 52 places, 26 morning places and 26 afternoon places. Sessions can be a morning, an afternoon or we also offer 30-hour places subject to Government produced eligibility criteria.
At Marsden Primary School we believe Everyone cares. Everyone matters. We are committed to providing a school where children, parents and staff are valued and where we give everyone the opportunity to feel good about their own achievements and the achievements of others, in a safe, challenging, varied environment.
Yet again, the Buddies continue to support the younger children's play skills at Marsden. This year, we have seen the largest number of Year 5 children step up to be superb role models and, together with the Year 6 Buddies, they are making playtimes more enjoyable. The Buddies continue to work with children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 at lunchtimes to support their play skills.
Leadership cited as 'inspirational' has helped a South Tyneside school to maintain its 'good' Ofsted rating. But headteacher Caroline Marshall was not the only person at Marsden Primary School praised by the education standards inspectorate. Other leaders were identified as having an abundance of 'resolute' determination to improve areas that require most attention.
