I first became an Estate Agent in 1992 and have loved it ever since. Having run 10 successful sales offices around London for a great independent agency for over 15 years, in 2015 I decided to open my own agency.

We love the local community and have donated 40,000 so far to local schools and charities, including Ruskin Park paddling pool and seasonal fetes and three local primary schools. Urban Village have teamed up with Trees for Cities and plant a tree for every property we sell. We sold our flat through Urban Village and it was a terrific experience. Suzanne and the team were incredibly supportive and efficient and very open and easy to discuss issues with. They kept the whole sale moving and we couldn’t have been better served. I’d recommend them to anyone selling in the area - they know it better than the big anonymous companies and care about the community. If we weren’t moving out of the area we’d go with them again!

We first used Urban Village Homes when we rented out our Brixton flat when we moved to Australia. I was impressed from the beginning with the level of personalised service that Suzanne and the team showed us. They supported and guided us and we ended up with some really quality tenants and at the price that we wanted. After a couple of years we made the decision to sell the flat, and again Suzanne and team were brilliant. I had a great experience dealing with the team during the purchase of my flat. From the initial visit with Sarah, she gave me space to walk around and really have a feel for the place.
The transaction initially appeared straightforward until the vendor decided to change his mind. Luckily Suzanne was able to talked him through and brought him back. The whole team was very supportive and chasing all parties to ensure we complete before the stamp duty holidays period. I have already recommended a friend and will certainly recommend Urban Village again. Thank Sarah, Suzanne and the team.

Had a really good experience selling my flat through Urban Village. Suzanne and the team were extremely responsive and proactive throughout the process. I was impressed both by the marketing of the flat, and, once a buyer was found, by the way Suzanne worked with them and with solicitors and the freeholder to ensure a smooth sale. Highly recommended.

Urban Village have been the most wonderful estate agents I could ever encounter. Sarah and Suzanne have both gone above and beyond every step of the way, in ways you wouldn't even imagine as within the remit of estate agency. Always happy to help and reassure, as well as providing knowledgeable and expert advice – including on transactions they had… nothing to do with! I have to admit I didn't think I'd ever say such glowing things about an estate agent but they truly break the mold and were absolutely 100% the best thing about selling my house, and made it a significantly less stressful
