Services
Owned by Zalal Uddin, Gandhi's was launched in 1982 and it never needed to look back. Coming from a successful catering management profile and profound work ethics, Zalal Uddin climbed the management ladder pretty fast during his employment with Wimpy and EMI and was inspired to open a restaurant that is a successful name today.

I miss this place so much! Always delicious food!! The man that owns it used to be a small cart in a multi restaurant location...he always remembered our order with such joy. I crave this food and drive by randomly just to see if they are open again.

The worst part about not working downtown anymore is not being able to eat Gandhi’s 3 to 4 times a week. While my waistline thanks me, my cravings grow daily. This is better Indian food than in India, seriously the Saag and Chicken Tikka Masala must have some super strong addictive ingredient.

This restaurant has been a favorite for a very long time. The sauces (especially the vindaloo!) are incredible and the portions are immense. Lunch service is done cafeteria style so it is always fast but it is also very fresh and there are a lot of choices.

This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants. Me and my family have been eating here for over 20 years! Great food and reasonably priced. My favourite dish is the Non-Vegetarian Thali

This place is certainly one of the most attractive place to eat in the region. Always when I go there I am truly glad. They always keep their high level service and the highest level of food they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Very recommended.

We held our wedding reception at Gandhi and we could not have been happier. The food was amazing and the staff was attentive and friendly.
I have been telling friends for years that this is the best Indian restaurant I've ever experienced. It was such a wonderful treat to be able to invite all of those friends for a perfect dinner following our wedding. We were not disappointed. The food (as always) was magnificent and, although I no longer live in Las Vegas, I can't wait to return.
Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Think was my first visit after going plant based (vegan). Only one dish is vegan as is, and I enjoyed it very much. Not too spicy, and still full of flavor. Quick service and friendly staff. Right next to the MAX.

This a great little place not in all the crowds. We had the butter chicken amazing, signature Baltic and tiki masala. The garlic bread was hot and fresh. Everyone's favorite was the coconut bread. Prices were very reasonable especially for London.

Fast service, tasty food, reasonable price. Should hire a graphic designer to make the menu more efficient to read.

Great atmosphere, great service, ok food. All dishes were under-salted (a chronic problem in the current culinary state of society) which neutered all of the natural flavors. We tried seven different entrées and while the textures we're good, the flavors were far too subtle and the spicy dishes were overwhelmed with spice because of that. Hot tip: be sure to order hot fresh Naan, whether you want plain or garlic. The standing naan from the buffet is not the way to go.

Friend said this was hands down the best Indian food. It did not disappoint. Just re-opened recently, and gets a long line during lunch rush due to the popularity of the place.

Gandhi's is a solid restaurant serving decent Indian food. There are not many Indian restaurants in the Kennington area where we stayed for a few nights, and we certainly had no major complaints about the meal. The atmosphere is fine, and the wait staff was very attentive and polite. The food came very promptly.

If one is in the area and doesn't want to go too far to search for a meal, Gandhi's will certainly do. However, London has a plethora of Indian restaurants, and if one is willing to look farther afield, one can probably do better.

Convenient!

So one Saturday afternoon I was feeling like some curry and randomly wondered into this restaurant. It is a small shop with nice decor. I ordered vegetarian thali for take away and got 10% discount for being my wonderful self (actually for all take aways).

I was quite impressed with the quantity of food, one thali is good for two people. It included 3 vegetable, daal, rice and a huge paratha. I vote for the muttar paneer! I think they just might have a repeat customer.
