Lakeside Lodge is a delightful, detached self-catering property quietly situated behind Lakeside Country Guest House. Owners Tim and Karen are on hand to greet you and help with where to eat and shop as well as things to do in the area but will respect your privacy at all times. This non-smoking self catering accommodation has been refurbished to offer comfortable, modern, open plan accommodation for stylish living in a peaceful location.

Just got back from a 3 night stay with my partner Tony, our 2 nd visit, loved every minute, beautiful house in a beautiful setting, fantastic hosts Karen and Tim .. such lovely people, fab breakfasts and nothing too much trouble. So glad we found this little gem. See u in April for a stay at the cottage at the rear Meadowside which is also fabulous. Cannot recommend enough

We have just got back from our second visit to Lakeside, this time we stayed in the Cottage, it was perfect in every sense of the word! We would highly recommend to anybody, Tim & Karen are the most accommodating hosts, the location is breath taking and the facilities are 5*. We hope to visit again soon.

Just had a lovely 1 night stay at Lakeside guest house. Beautiful location near Bassenthwaite lake we managed to go for 2 moderate hikes up local hills despite the torrential downpour on both days. Tim and Karen were lovely hosts so welcoming and friendly and when we turned up like drowned rats they were so kind taking our wet gear to hang in their dry room. The breakfast was fabulous 👌 We had full English and blueberry pancakes absolutely perfect! I could eat here every day and never get bored of the menu (which you fill in online). Loved it so much we've booked again for December.

Stayed one night (only because B&B was fully booked 😥) with my bestie. Spoiled rotten from the moment we pulled up into the car park. Karen & Tim are absolutely brilliant & couldn't do enough for us. Room was gorgeous & spotlessly clean. Breakfast, what can I say? So much choice & delicious ingredients. Until next time Lakeside Country Guest House ❤

Absolutely beautiful location and the hosts Karen and Tim couldn't have been more welcoming. The rooms were very nicely done, the views were spectacular and it felt incredibly quiet and private surrounded by trees, with little additional noise other than the birds. It's only a ten minute drive from Keswick, so we were able to drive into town for dinner and return to have tea / wine on the terrace watching the sunset over Skiddaw - bliss. Breakfast options were exceptional and the porridge is a must try. Can't wait to return!!
