Sue - Chef, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia I had not left the house for 18 months and here I was walking through London on my own! I couldn't believe the changes. I now really do have a life that I love and Simon, I can't thank you enough for helping me find it.

Zuzana "Somewhat sceptical, I began my first day of training and slowly realised this is nothing like I've ever done before; I've done a few things on my quest to find happiness or break the vicious circle of my destructive thoughts ruling my life".Torhild I had been having chronic leg and back pain for ten years, and was told that there was nothing I could do about it.

I worked for a housing trust, working with men with mental health problems and histories of homelessness. I enjoyed an active life, physically and socially; playing tennis, football, sailing. I enjoyed working with the clients, utilising my training as a counsellor.

However I became more and more involved in the management side of things, (which on reflection wasn't what really interested me), ending up being the Director of the Trust and did a thorough job of running myself into the ground.I would feel terribly tired when I ate any food and developed sensitivities to food.
Thank you again so much, Simon. I am so grateful to you and happy that I can sustain good health and happiness like this - I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! Completing the training was a real eureka experience. The training has provided me with practical tools to cope in challenging situations, whether at work or in daily life.
What is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)? A simple definition of NLP is that it is an approach that gives people the tools to become more effective and successful in their lives. A more formal definition is that it is "The study of the structure of our subjective experience". Where does NLP come from?
Simply put, we are in different states of mind all the time. These states of mind can be powerful. Some are helpful, for instance when we are completely focused on a task, some are unhelpful, for instance when we are being self critical in a negative way. Hypnotherapy works on the understanding that we are able to change our state of mind so that our unconscious mind is accessible and our conscious mind is less dominant.
You learn a technique that may help you to identify unhelpful and interrupt responses and create more useful ones. For example, instead of dwelling from a mistake, perhaps overdoing it, and chastising yourself, responding with calm and compassion. When the parasympathetic nervous system (PN) is activated, this stops the fight or flight response.
