My name is Phil Powell and I am Aldershot Sewing Machines, carrying out Servicing & Repairs on sewing machines of most ages. This includes Overlock and Industrial machines. I am fully qualified and work from a well equipped workshop - so you can always be sure that your machine in in safe hands. I set very high standards and always aim to exceed Customer expectations.
Much of my work comes in through referrals / word of mouth, from individuals, groups, Schools, clubs etc. and Aldershot Sewing Machines continues to grow. Genuine parts are used (unless you are informed otherwise). I generally offer a quick turnaround (unless waiting for parts) and offer the best rates in the area.

Excellent Service … a Professional Job and Great Value (with a “works carried out” guarantee)….. added to the fact that Phil is a really nice and helpful guy
The problem solving and full service only took a few days and, when the settings and thread being used weren’t quite right, Phil even called round to sort it out and ensure my wife could carry on with her sewing
Apart from her Janome Machine Phil is clearly at ease with every shape and size of industrial or domestic machine and we would recommend him highly

Aldershot Sewing Machines serviced my Elna sewing machine in December, but it was returned to me minus the accessory box. During my initial phone call to Mr Powell he seemed aware of an accessory box in his workshop which fitted the description. However, he subsequently back-tracked for no apparent reason. Although he promised to sort out the problem, he chose not to return any calls, and then not to pick up my phone calls. I would never advise anyone to take their machine to this company. It is not the initial error of ‘losing’ the accessory box (mistakes happen), but his total refusal to

Phil did a fantastic job repairing my vintage Jones sewing machine. He sourced the manual and replaced the tension spring (which was hard to find). It works beautifully now. Thank you Phil. He even dropped it off back home for me as we were in lockdown with Covid 19

Highly recommended Phil, his service is outstanding!!! My Singer machine has been need of a service and I kept putting it off, until it had a blip yesterday! when I really needed it! Having contacted Phil he sorted it out very promptly knowing I was in the middle of a project! Such a friendly and knowledgeable guy, my two other machines will be on their way to him soon!
