Hamilton is only about 15 minutes away and the centre of Glasgow can be reached in only 30 minutes. Our golfers enjoy the magnificent scenery and panoramic views of the Southern Uplands dominating to the East, South and West while playing the course.
On a clear day, the peaks of Ben More and Ben Vorlich can even be seen to the North. Wildlife abounds in this unspoilt and unpolluted area. As early as the 1920's the idea of a golf course in Coalburn was thought about by George Clark Snr. and 9 other "would be" golfers. A committee was formed and the first official Hollandbush Golf Club was born. After much work by Club members and friends, 9 holes were ready for play in 1958. The former dilapidated farm building was rebuilt and converted into a clubhouse, it can still be seen at the 14th green today.

Peter and Karen Miller are a husband and wife team who strive to make your visit to Hollandbush a special one. Whether you have dropped in for a light bite of lunch or to book your celebration party, they will look after your every need. Peter works behind the scenes creating tasty home cooked dishes with fresh produce.
Our junior section is fabulous for not only the juniors but also the parents. Be assured that not only is the golf important but also the teaching of etiquette and sportsmanship. Each week there are trophies or medals to be played for and throughout the year team events where a junior member could be playing along side other adults.
