Camel Sailing and Powerboat Centre based within the Camel Estuary has been established for over 30 years and by following the original ethos 'Providing excellent personal tuition on the Camel' we have developed and continue to grow while taking pride in being able to deliver that personal touch. We offer the full range of RYA Power & Sailing courses on a one to one level or as a group, we also offer the qualifications to work towards commercial certification for powerboats up to 10m.
Our RYA courses are delivered on the Camel Estuary, North Cornwall, which provides an amazing setting to get out on the water, with Padstow & Rock either side and long sandy beaches stretching out to the mouth of the bay, it offers an enjoyable and challenging environment to learn.Both Powerboat & Sailing courses can be booked on demand.

Most of our courses are on demand or listed on our calendar, however we can schedule you in with no problem! Most courses are run regularly & you can either book 1:1 or join a group when available, please call 0120 886 2881 or email info@camelsailing.co.uk for further info. Myself and my 19 year old nephew took the RYA Powerboat 2 course with Josh as our mentor, he is very knowledgeable and professional and had an easy way of imparting the methodology to introduce us to power boating. We both really enjoyed the course and would not hesitate to recommend him and the Camel Powerboat Centre, many thanks Peter & Harry

Helpful, friendly, professional and informative. We did our RYA course here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our instructor was great and we learnt a lot more than we thought. The theory side was very interesting and the practical fun while being taught things every powerboat user should know.
