Mylor Sailing School
Joe has been working for us for quite a few years with a short break. He has excellent people skills, manages the team brilliantly. With many years sailing and cruising experience we are very lucky to have him on the team. Matt joined Mylor Sailing School in 2011 and has lots of great experience with high level racing and coaching all levels.

He can also fix anything! Ryan started sailing with Mylor Sailing School in 2014 and joined team in 2016. He has lots of great experience working with our Sailability sessions and is always here to greet you and help you get ready to get on the water. Vicky has lots of experience teaching sailing at many yacht clubs around the world.

Thank you Mylor Sailing School - our daughter and her friend had an excellent week sailing dinghies. This is her second week with you and your instructor Flo was encouraging and supportive. They had a fantastic time, they want to go again, and we shall book again next season if there are any spaces. Thank you Tracey, Zak and Flo.

I've sailed with Mylor a couple of times, they've been accommodating, listening to what I want to achieve and friendly. I'd recommend.

Excellent dinghy sailing training with the very knowledgable and friendly Flo. By the end of the first day I felt much more confident in the water despite my general incompetence; and the improvised sailing + therapy sessions later in the week were very cathartic!
The nearby cafe has a fish finger sandwich to die for, which while not part of the sailing school is definitely a bonus.

Good structured training, lots of relevant classroom information that can be immediately applied in sailing sessions before and after lunch.
The courses have brought my skills along well.

Had a great weekend on a L2 sailing course with Matt. Excellent teacher and makes the day fun, this is the second time we've been back to Mylor Sailing School and really recommend it. Beautiful location and clear communication beforehand plus good safe covid precautions.

I introduced my son to sailing a few years back through a "practice session" at Mylor Sailing School. He also did some training there as well as the Amazon and Swallows sessions. He enjoyed every minute, even though he did not know anyone there as we are regular visitors to the area (credit to the instructors for making it so much fun).
The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The kit is well maintained and you have everything you need - all at a very reasonable price.
Well done to everyone and you deserve the awards you regularly receive.

We booked a weeks RYA level 1 & 2 sailing course for September 2020. The course was easy to book and Tracey replied to all our enquiries promptly and accommodated our request to mix the type of boats we sailed. The training was professionally delivered by great instructors who had a wealth of experience and knowledge, Thanks Karen and Meg. We had a great time the weather was mostly kind, the area to sail is beautiful and the facilities at Mylor were good. I would definitely recommend Mylor Sailing School.

My husband and I did most of level 2 keelboat over 2 days. Great experience, new boat, well equipped centre, our tutor Charlie took great care of us, and as a teacher and teacher trainer myself, Charlie’s a natural teacher. The clearest explanations blended with practical application we’ve had, thank you! I hope your leg gets better soon Tracy!

Just finished the Powerboat level 2 at Mylor Sailing School. FANTASTIC!!! Courses can be a number of predictable things; Box ticking exercise, boring, not delivering what is advertised and spot on. Mylor Sailing School is SPOT ON!
There were 6 of us taking the course, with varying abilities ages and expectations. Giles and Dave kept us all engaged and had a knack of knowing when the group understood a section and moved on and then, picking up on areas which needed more in depth explanation. Always tailoring the subject to the group.
There was a good balance of theory and practical elements which
