SSH Self Drive

Needed a vehicle in a hurry, and the staff were excellent in sorting it out. I drove a car away within 45 minutes of first contact. Easy process tor hire and handback. Vehicle was spotless. Great value for money based on the idiot competition on Stafford Park. Highly recommended.

The staff here were helpful and friendly and professional.
The van I hired was new and clean both inside and out with all the tech you could want for a long journey.
The cost was reasonable compared with other companies with the area. I was given the opportunity to come and measure the vans in advance of making a decision.
I definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a stress free service. Other companies require more notice or charge you considerbly more for providing short notice. I was able to sort my hire out in less than 24 hours.

The guys at SSH were very helpful and friendly. I had a lovely car and it was by far the best value for money. I ended up having the car way longer than initially planned and the staff just kept extending it as needed... even though this must have meant a deal of paperwork for them.

I used SSH for several hires in the last few months due to my car being out of action. Professional service, friendly staff and very decent pricing. Collection and dropping off of the cars was very quick and efficient, and the cars themselves were always great.

Very good prices compared with some competitors, despite low prices vans are new and clean. Made a booking Friday and had a van ready for collection on Saturday morning. Alot of competitors need a weeks notice ton get a van on a weekend, and they cost more to hire.

I prepaid online for a SWB and when I arrived at 4pm to pick it up, the van I requested was unavailable. They offered me a LWB which was not appropriate for what I needed it for. No courtesy phone call was made to inform me prior to the pick up. The branch manager just blamed the previous customer and said “we have no control over what our customers do.”
In desperation to get a van that evening I called Hertz who told me to call another number who sent me to another part of the business who then gave me another number and still no joy in providing me with anything.

Very efficient and very well organised. Most of the vans etc for hire are practically new atm (2018) & there is a very large selection to choose from. Take many photos of your van before driving it off so that your not charged for any scratches etc you didn't add, the first £1000 of damage your not covered insurance wise & for me at least this insurance plus AA breakdown cover was included but of course ask & check this. Overall very happy with my experience hiring a van here & will do so again when I need to.

Booked a van online same day collection. Very competitive prices, nice clean van, pleasant, professional service.
The website does not make it clear though that a £250 deposit is required, and unless you have cleared funds in your account the rental will not be authorised.
But overall a very good service

One of the best customer service experiences I have ever had the priveledge of experiencing. Hired a car as mine was held over in the garage being repaired, the staff are very knowledgable and courteous and ensured I was comfortable with the vehicle, which was of a very good spec and very clean. i was happy to go back and hire a minibus for a girls weekend away and again the same level of courtesy and care was afforded to us aswell as the minibus being a good standard. I have recommended them to a friend who hired a van for removal and he tells me the advice they gave him was excellent. Would recommend
