At Greenacres, your comfort and enjoyment are at the top of our agenda when you stay on our site. Since taking of Greenacres with new management we've heavily invested in upgrading and maintaining the campsite facilities and the site boasts a range of facilities to ensure your stay is relaxing and hassle free.
Greenacres is in a fantastic location, quiet and relaxing for your stay, yet near enough to be the perfect base for seeing the local attractions. Our own site is a great base for walkers and cyclists with many footpaths on our doorstep, but there are lots of things to do and see within a short distance.
If you're a keen angler looking to test your skills in the River Trent, Greenacres is the perfect location to base yourself whilst on your angling trip. Greenacres is an excellent place to stay for fishing enthusiasts. We have a local fishing pond that can be used by guests, and, we're also only 6 miles from the River Trent.

Lovely, well-maintained site with excellent facilities, in particular the piping-hot showers in the heated, automatically-lit toilet block.
Sarah was very welcoming on arrival; just what you want after a long drive.
There's some road and rail noise, as others have mentioned, but it's not bad and didn't disturb me during my stay.
Good value and recommended.
