The Orchard Dance Academy was established in 1981 and is based in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire. Our aim is to provide a home from home where every pupil is valued and every pupil achieves. With ISTD examinations taken throughout the year, plus regular performing opportunities, we pride ourselves in offering a welcoming, well-rounded place of learning.
We are delighted to be able to say that many pupils who start at the Orchard Dance Academy at the age of 3 stay on into their teens and beyond. We are delighted to have returned to face-to-face lessons this term. In order to keep our students and teachers as safe as possible, we will be continuing with the same hygiene and distancing measures that we have had in place since September.

Services
Boys and girls can join at any age from 3 upwards into their early 20's. Ballet is the foundation of all dance genres and is a vital core subject. The youngest class, which is for 3-year olds, lasts for 30 minutes - at which the little ones learn to dance in a fun way. Even the most timid child soon gains confidence and these lessons assist in achieving poise, coordination and musicality.
When joining our school, we will advise you of which garments of uniform your child requires. You can either choose to purchase these before or after your child attends their trial lesson. All uniform items must be purchased online (rather than in person) via our uniform shop here on our website. Uniform is a very important part of the discipline of learning to dance and is worn to all classes.

My daughter started attending Orchard Academy at 3 years old and is now nearly 12. She loves her dance lessons and looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends there. She enjoys her exams!!! and is so proud of her achievements. Dancing has been brilliant for her self confidence and she feels this is somewhere that she can be accepted and belong. The shows every couple of years are amazing. Memories to treasure for her and for us as her parents. I couldn’t recommend this dance school highly enough.

My daughter was a late starter to dance. She started dancing to build her confidence. Not only as her confidence grown through the incrediable support and encouragement from Mrs Orchard and Miss Annelise but she has gained dance skills, made friends for life and had experiences we never thought she would. Cant recommend the dance school enough. They really are one BIG happy family whom we all feel very much part of. Can't thank them enough x

Professional approach and Mrs. Orchard keeps her dancers well disciplined. They all learn from very early age, that being on time, have their hair done immaculately and full outfit on is a must, otherwise they are not allowed to take a class. My daughter is only 3 years and 3 months and absolutely loves going to her weekly class.
