Classes are for children of all ages and abilities, whether looking to become a professional dancer or to keep fit and have fun, Kalinka Dance School provides the perfect foundation with ballet and gymnastic dance.
Students also graduate to other styles such as modern, jazz, contemporary, further ballet and national dance. Classes are taught by a Russian ballerina who has 30 years of experience, as well as other experienced choreographers. Stretching is a very important part of all classes and provides students with the flexibility that's required to achieve at high levels in class, for performances and Ballet Grades exams.

Services
Since our founding in 2004 we've been providing dance classes for children of all ages, for the last 16 years. Starting her career as a ballerina in Russia, the main choreographer and dance teacher Irina Mironova has experience of teaching for the last 30 years. We provide all groups an opportunity to perform at the bi-annual Dance Show at chosen theatres, where parents can enjoy our students progress.
All our classes have a grounding in ballet and gymnastic dance, which later advances into other styles. Ballet grades are also completed by all students. We encourage our students to socialise and teach dance in an inclusive, imaginative and challenging way. Dance classes have the ability to improve a child's flexibility, posture, balance, coordination and confidence, as well as developing social interaction and friendships.
