Chicken tikka masala didn’t taste anything like it should. Went for my birthday and I couldn’t even eat it, was a disappointment

First visit with my son. Friendly atmosphere and service. Good spread of dishes on the menu. Popodoms tasty, fresh and crispy with range of relish.
Starters ample and delicious - one shami and one shish kebab.
Every time I visit a new Indian, I always have the same dish chicken biryani with a hot vegetable sauce. This one was pretty good; rice was tasty but a bit oily, sauce was great, spicy as I asked for so excellent!
Nann bread was large and delicious.
Overall, really good but was a bit on the pricey side but good food in pleasant surroundings so happy enough.

Lovely restaurant. We went here because of the reviews but it was just ok. 2 curries 1 bread 1 chips 1 rice 2 small soft drinks just under £40 Very small portion of curry, only 5 small cubes of chicken. It was tasty but only warm not hot. Bread, rice and chips were perfect. Mango chutney like water, very thin. Waiter who served food was not very pleasant just plonked food on table quickly announcing what each one was and walked off. Wasn't feeling any warmth from the service. However the man who greeted us was very nice. All in all just ok.

The food is nice but my God, the prices seem to have gone up. £6 for four poppadums before you've even seen the menu?! That's a trick I won't fall for next time. £11 for a curry before you've even added rice? Wow - I'm in the wrong business.

This was our first visit and we enjoyed our food, the value for money and the service was also ace friendly. I opted for the shish kebab starter and a lamb rogan josh with a nan bread.

My wife chose the same starter with a chicken tikka massala and pilau rice, so we shared the bread and rice.

The lamb mince starter was tasty and it was lightly spiced. It came served up on a sizzling hot plate with onions on the iron base. This works well as it chars the onions making them tasty.

My lamb main had 7 pieces of lamb and the rogan josh gravy was mild and a good portion. As it's a first visit

The Masala Lounge is an excellent Indian restaurant in Sale town centre. The restaurant is smart inside and the service is extremely efficient. The chutneys that accompanied our poppadum's were delicious and plentiful. Their onion bhajis are amazing but enormous. The curries were also of a very high standard too. I really enjoyed my paneer masala which was creamy but with a little bit of heat so it wasn't bland. The drinks at Masala Lounge are very reasonably priced with a bottle of wine starting at £10.95. It's great to have such a high quality place on my doorstep.

Hooray! Another pretty darn decent Indian restaurant in Sale.

First impressions were good when they pushed the boat out to squeeze our party of five in at the last minute on a Saturday night - the place was practically full. The décor makes you think like you're sat in front of a massive humbug mint with the black and white stripes on the walls.

Their operation is slick, with drinks orders taken promptly whilst still allowing us enough time to review the food menu properly.

The service was polite and efficient throughout and food was very good indeed, from the poppadums and chutney tray
