Starting from humble beginnings at the age of 10 Carlton kept a few chickens, rabbits and the odd little pig. Later with wife Judith, they expanded into delivering milk using a traditional horse and cart - seven days a week come rain or shine throughout the local area. The natural progression was for Carlton to own farm which he achieved and moved into Blue Hills farm.

All our meat is produced on the farm, which means there are no wholesalers to take their profit, which enables us to sell such quality meat at these prices. The Hayloft Cafe offers a wide variety of home-cooked food, using fresh ingredients from our Farm Shop. Open daily from 7.30am-4pm, serving All day breakfast which is very very popular with our customers, home made steak pies, quiches, sandwiches, paninis, home made cakes, buns and scones.
Our breakfast consists of 2 rashers bacon, 2 home made sausages, mushrooms, half a tomato, black pudding, 2 free range eggs and two slices of toast for just 5.95.Home-made steak pie chips and peas and onion gravy only 5.95. Home-made quiche, chips and side salad only 4.0 (With a choice of cheese, onion, bacon, mushroom and broccoli.)

All parties charged @ 10 per child, includes entry for 2 hours, party tea in a specific private room, a buffet consistings of sandwiches (a choice of three fillings ie Ham, Cheese, Jam, Tuna mayo, Egg mayo, Potted beef) crisps, sausage rolls, chips, biscuits, fairy buns, juice (1jug each of orage juice, blackcurrant juice, water) fresh fruit, ice cream.
