I specialise in taking a personal approach to my teaching, adapting the lesson structure, material and pace to each individual students requirements. I have over 20 years teaching experience with the guitar, 15 of which have been full time. During my career I have taught a wide range of students of all ages and abilities; I currently have students as young as 6, right through to adults over 65.
During my career as a music teacher I have taught many children, from ages 5-6 upwards. With safety an ever present concern of all parents, I am happy to do whatever I can to make both parents and younger students feel comfortable. With any child I always ask that a parent be present for, at a minimum, the first few lessons.
Does it matter that I am an absolute beginner, or if I haver never even held a guitar before?. A. No, not at all. I have taught many people who have never played before. I can teach you how to sit and hold the guitar correctly and get you started playing right away. I specialise in adapting lessons to suit each student and I am incredibly patient, so don't worry even if you have no confidence, we will build up your skills gradually.

Have been meaning to take some guitar lessons for several years and after checking out several reviews decided to go with Marc.
I must say from the very start I was immediately impressed with his attentive teaching methodss. Within a few minutes he identified several issues which he put right and have massively improved my playing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone interested in improving their overall guitar playing.
