I recently ate here again with my partner after a previously fantastic experience and was saddened to see them now operating with a revised and VERY limited vegan menu. The carvery looked absolutely fantastic but sadly had no plant based alternative (they have a meat free version, which is okay if you just want a plate of veg) which was made all the more disappointing by the vast amount of oil the Ultimate Vegan Burger contained (deep fried patty served with deep fried onion rings and deep fried chips). The waitress serving us was super friendly and helpful however.

We booked out a private room for our daughter's first birthday, we was greeted very warmly, manager and staff explained everything with easy understanding. Service was spot on and we want to add a special thank you to the tall waiter who served us our meals. He was very professional but also was down to earth and very friendly. Thank you so much for the service and evening.

Went for carvery and a menu meal today as a family of 4. Service is excellent as usual and staff couldn't do enough for us. They let us know when the menu food was nearly ready so the others could get their… carvery and we could all eat together. food was gorgeous and when my daughter spilt her drink we were offered another. lovely place and the staff really make it a positive experience. thank you 😊

The meat quality is not the best I've tasted, I'm not sure why the stuffing is hard. I didn't like the staff getting in the way whilst I was queueing for my carvery. But I found it most annoying the cuttlery… that they were attending to was where it was. It's too far to carry your plate of food all the way downstairs into the pub lounge. Don't feel it's very safe and I feel the food and it's service should be just on the restaurant space. Don't like your famous wording as it's too overrated in my experience, my partner has never even heard of you, so you can't be famous. You need to improve

We only had small wedding with just ourselves and two friends but we could not have asked for anymore.
Our table was all decorated and ready for us in the room beside the bar ... we were left on our own and they kept the public away from us so we could enjoy our day privately...Reece and his staff were so attentive and helpful and so kind.

Well what can I say about this place my partner booked a table as we was getting married in two days later but our final meal before our wedding so I phoned them up and asked them if they can do something nice for her when we get there.
They put on the table a bottle of wine and a rose and then after pudding they brought out a board saying congratulations on.
I would highly recommend this place thank you so much for a lovely meal and your hospitality photos attached

Nice spacious pub, plenty of seating and a great kids play area make this a family favorite in these parts.
We went for Sunday lunch and had the carvery, delicious roast meats served buffet style with all the usual trimmings, Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower, peas, carrots, roast and mashed potatoes, gravy, apple sauce, cranberry sauce etc.....
Selection of meats included house roasted pork with crackling, beef, turkey, honey ham and a couple of daily specials.

Paid a visit to the 6 acres with 5 members of family last Sunday for Lunch. The pub has a decent car park which was full at half 2 so we parked on the street outside however other members of the family who came 5-10 minutes later were able to park easily.
We got drinks at the bar and took a seat round a small table. I asked a girl in the entrance how long a wait for a table for 6 and was advised 45 minutes.
