8 of us visited for Sunday lunch and to be fair it was pretty decent.
For starters we had the creamy garlic mushrooms plus chorizo in a wine reduction ( and other dishes but won't name them all) and these two were the standouts , really delicious.
For mains, it was Sunday dinners , slow cooked lamb plus chicken & chorizo burgers. The Sunday dinners whilst good sized portions were just a bit bland , nothing bad but nothing memorable.
The SC lamb was spot on though as were the chicken & chorizo burgers.
Deserts were fine but small portions.
The waitresses were really nice and looked after us

Been here today with my partner for lunch. Greeted by a gentleman who is the Manager, Adam - very welcoming. Timothy Taylor on draught so no question there, partner had a glass of well kept Rose.
The menu was very extensive so choice was a problem, my partner had a chicken dish, I had belly pork, both well prepared. We both had the ice cream sundae for desert.
This is a very welcoming hostelry where cleanliness is paramount.
Thank you, a shame you are not our local but we will return.

Adam and the team make you feel very welcome. The steak burger is outstanding as is the kebab would recommend them both. The gluten free fish and chips are delicious. Fudge cake to die for and the gluten free peanut butter cups are well worth a try now made with coconut milk. They do sandwiches and also Sunday lunch so something for everybody. Would highly recommend a visit.
