Based in a lovely village location on the edge of Ascot and Windsor Great Park, Cheapside Pre-school offers your child fun and friendship in a safe, homely, nurturing environment. We welcome children aged 2 1/2 - 5 years for morning, afternoon or all day sessions. Non funded or 15/30 hr FREE places are available, along with out of school care. Cheapside Pre-school is absolutely fantastic! My son's education, abilities, skills and knowledge have just flourished since joining at 2.5yrs old.

At Cheapside Pre-school we are lucky to have a fantastic team of dedicated staff, all highly qualified to ensure the best care for your children. We are also very proud to have a high staff to child ratio, enabling us to give individual attention to children in our care. I have been in early years for over 25 years now, starting as a mum helper on the rota to becoming the business owner.
At Cheapside Pre-school we are now following a programme called 'In the Moment Planning' which is all about following the children's lead and interests in what they want to engage and play with and teaching 'in the moment'. We operate a partial 'loose parts play' model where any item can be anything that the children's imagination takes them to.
Based in the heart of Cheapside village, we have many wonderful walks on our doorstep. We regularly take the children out on explorations to Windsor Great Park, and to Sunninghill Park, playing games like Pooh Sticks, looking for the owls in our "Gruffalo" woods and watching the swans and ducks in the lake or the horses in the neighbouring fields.
Cheapside Pre-school is very proud to be able to offer our very own out of school club on site. Rainbow Kids Club is open to all pre-schoolers and primary school children from the village primary, Cheapside Primary School. Our pre-schoolers have a wonderful opportunity to mix with an older age group, which has proved to help their transition to primary.
Extend your day in hourly blocks at a charge of 8.00 per hour (only available if tagged onto a session). Or for longer extensions to the day, breakfast and after school sessions are available from 7.45am - 6.00pm. Cheapside has been amazing for both my 3 & 4 year olds who currently attend. Mrs Shaw’s wealth of experience is evident in the organised, welcoming and fun learning environment created by her fab team. Both of my children have different personalities but have both flourished at Cheapside and enjoy going each day. I couldn’t recommend Cheapside enough 😀

Our 3 year old son has just started at Cheapside pre school and he absolutely loves it. He runs in every morning excited to see the staff and his new friends.
The staff are clearly very passionate about what they do and provide the children with a wonderful setting to enjoy playing, learning and developing.
I would thoroughly recommend this pre school.

Cheapside preschool Is an amazing school Lovely caring staff My youngest is at preschool he absolutely loves being there and has come on leaps and bounds while being at the school staff are very caring and attentive and facilities are well equipped . Location is great for us Rainbow club is also very good both my boys attend the before and… after school care and love it and the team Would recommend the Preschool highly to anyone looking for a preschool. After school care is also very good for us as working parents Mrs shaw is a lovely lady and her team are a great asset to her Cant thank

Our two children have been attending for the past 18 months, using both the pre-school and the morning/after school club. The small team are a lovely group, with great experience and a very caring approach to the children. Our older child has progressed smoothly from the pre-school to the local primary school and benefits from the consistency in still being able to use the wrap around services. We'd definitely recommend it!
