We are extremely proud of our own workshop practice, working in partnership with a waste management company, recycling glass and board products where possible.

At blackShed, we are experienced in both contemporary and traditional styles, and provide a bespoke service depending entirely on what will best compliment your artwork. At blackShed framing we offer a great range of framing styles and use a variety of different methods and techniques in our workshop to produce contemporary frames.
Conservation framing is a term used to describe the use of materials and techniques which provide protection to framed works of art on paper. Conservation framing can be 'Conservation' or 'Museum' grade according to the quality and specification of the materials used. We only use quality techniques and materials which are proven to protect the works of art we frame.
Whether you have a canvas to stretch or need to purchase raw canvas, here at blackShed we offer a full canvas and stretching service. If you are an artist, have bought a painting back from a holiday that requires stretching over bars, or simply looking to purchase your canvas from us or already have a roll of canvas that you would like converted into canvas panels, we can help.
We offer a variety of different services which includes our poster and print framing service. Our experts will frame any print or poster of your choice in a frame of your choosing. This is the best framing business I have ever used! Kenton's expert advice transformed my beautiful David Nash original - rather than simply putting a "box" round a picture , his framing emphasised the features of the work in an understated and elegant way.
