Because we care we use approved conservation framing techniques on all artwork we frame. We are Fine Art Trade Guild Commended Framers with over 18 years experience. To visually enhance and offer moderate level of protection from physical and mechanical damage, airborne pollutants and acids generated by framing materials, for around 5 years in normal conditions.

Services
We are Fine Art Trade Guild Commended Framers who specialise in conservation framing to the highest standards and have been framing all manner of art for over 18 years. Arte has recently moved their bespoke framing workshop from Weybridge, to a new purpose built workshop at Rye Harbour Village.
The almost overwhelming numbers of mouldings on display offer a vast choice of framing options from traditional styles to the latest creations from around the world.Our understanding of colour and texture is not surprising as Sally, who does most of the framing consultations, studied fashion and textiles at college and went on to obtain a degree in Fine Art.

If there is one framing gallery who know what they are doing, it's Arte. Very professional, well above any framer I know, and I know many. Attention to detail, an eye for what's needed to make it look great. Can't wait to see another of my artwork framed, I am picking it up today, and it's going to a good exhibition - a Painter.

I discovered Arte Specialist Picture Framers quite by chance, and how delighted I was.
I was using my holiday in Rye to have a tapestry framed, it had lain in a drawer for years.
Arte was the first picture framer that I rang and following a short conversation I confidently gave them my commission.
How fortunate I was! Mike's ability, in guiding you through a range of frames and colours of mounts was instructive. To call him a picture framer doesn't do him justice. The man is full of ideas, creative and artistic.
Mike pulled out all the stops and completed my commission in readiness for my departure

Exquisite framing with professional advice and exemplary attention to detail. I took 7 pieces of embroidery art to Arté for framing, ranging from canvas work to needle painting on silk. Mike and Sally provided comprehensive expert advice on every aspect of the process from the technicalities of the glass to the most suitable frames and the best colour schemes for the mounts. Sally has a great eye for colour and I really appreciated her suggestions on the best frames/mounts to enhance the embroidery. I am delighted with the finished results.

Mike of Arte has framed several prints and paintings for me, all of which I am absolutely delighted with! Both Mike and his wife Sally, have taken the time to discuss and find the right combination for my art - from the frame to having a border or no border, to colour combination to type of glass. I recommend Arté for all your framing requirements - they are first class. Mike has done a range of superb work for me framing original paintings, sets of prints and photographs. Whether for my personal use, for clients or for exhibitions, Mike always carries out his work with calm professionalism, attention to detail and with reassuring and expert design input at every stage. He knows what he is doing and delivers to the highest standard every time, on time. He is also very good at boxing up your artwork if needed for safe delivery by courier or mail. I discovered Mike at Arte Specialist Picture Framing when I moved to the area. I wanted a few pictures framed and I was helped by Mike’s advice regarding suitable mount boards and frames which transformed my pictures and look wonderful on the walls of my new home. I recently dropped off a mirror whose frame had broken and a picture I’ve had for a long time which had slipped in its frame to be repaired and I know I will be delighted with the results. There is no doubt, Mike and his team are superb at what they do. I have never come across such skilled and good value picture framers. I can not recommend them highly enough and will always put my business with Mike at his premises in Rye Business Park. There is no job which is too difficult for him. We bought an oil in Rome only to discover it had not been mounted properly. Mike corrected the mounting and framed it beyond our expectations. Perhaps his stongest talent is the advice he can give which is always considered and in his customers' best interests. HIs many suggestions have both saved

Starting a new life in a new place a year ago, I needed to put up some pictures to make it feel like home. Trawling the web, I came across Arte not far away, and from my first visit, have been hugely impressed with Mike's attitude, creativity and skill. I have never felt rushed, and if we couldn't decide - didn't think we'd got quite the right idea - he asked Sally to join us with her artist's eyes, and we found the perfect solution. I opted to use Arte based on all the fantastic reviews I’d read online. I was not disappointed. Both Mike and Sally really took time to help me choose the perfect frames for my work. The combination of Sally’s meticulous eye for detail and Mike’s technical know-how are a winning combination. Their framing service surpassed all my expectations and Mikes honest approach to helping a practising artist keep the costs down is like a breath of fresh air.
