We have opened our garden and conservatory to become a cycle cafe. We believe in the importance of using local food producers and use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Meat from our local butcher and local cheeses. The cafe serves bacon and sausage sandwiches at brunch and the lunch menu includes homemade soup and toasties.

We also offer an afternoon tea of homemade cakes, scones and tea. During the summer everything is served in the beautiful surroundings outside. When the wild garden is in full bloom it boasts a gorgeous rose garden. You can enjoy the sound of the birdsong and if you are lucky catch sight of Blue tit's, Woodpeckers and Squirrels.

Lovely couple with good hot food and great banter. Many cyclists stop here so a great stop off point for them.

We loved our stop at Woodside to meet our brother on the way north. A great place to step off the motorway and find locally sourced delicious food that is served with care and kindness. Great local meats and cheeses, homemade apple crumble and great coffee. We will definitely be back.

My favourite Cafe. Debbie and Mike are such warm hosts, food delicious and they use local produce, fab bacon butter and an apple scone with loganberry jam. Nom nom nom.

We stopped in for coffees, tea and scones one sunny July afternoon. The well-tended lush garden was in full bloom and the friendly hosts Mike and Debs provided us with a very warm welcome. There is a gazebo and umbrellas for those that prefer to sit in the shade. A very peaceful rest stop if you are in the area.

What a little gem. Such a warm welcome we had from Debbie and Mike. We had such a lovely lunch, and the home made apple pie was so delicious. I felt as if I was visiting very special friends in their home, and sharing good food, laughter and friendship.

Scone with homemade jam, real freshly whipped thick cream and a big pot of tea.. what's not to like! Will pop in again soon - hope to see the red squirrels next time. Thanks Mike
