I've always been interested in health & fitness and decided to learn more about the science in 2010, completing my Level 2 fitness instructor training that year and qualifying as a level 3 Personal Trainer in 2011. What started out as a hobby, training friends and running outdoor summer bootcamps quickly became a part time job - and one that I really enjoyed!
I love working with clients of all ages, shapes and sizes. I fully believe in having attainable, yet stretching goals and I believe in giving 100%. There's little more satisfying than helping people set challenges for themselves, then enabling them to reach those goals that they never believed were achievable.

Fay Weir - For some people, and for many different reasons, exercise can be difficult. Physical or mental restrictions can be an excuse to just not do any. I have rheumatoid arthritis and Gary has been the first person who has been able to get me past all my fears, concerns and self restricting thoughts and get me doing things I never thought I would or could!

I was introduced to Gary via Karen Lawther NLC's 28 day Lockdown Programme - thought I would just do the food and nutrition part of it as I was not really into working out but Gary changed all that! Fun, achievable workouts you can do at home. I felt better after the very first session and Gary made me laugh and really enjoy it. No Lycra or… fancy equipment required, he keeps it real - it's like working out with a pal in your living room even though we've never met in person. Feel energised, toned, and can't believe I can now do a Burpee (had no clue what that even was before I started and

I’d highly recommend Gary as a fitness instructor (and this is coming from someone of ‘a certain age‘ who hadn’t exercised in a long time). The training Gary offered, as part of an online 28 day lockdown programme, gave me the the encouragement I needed to start exercising again. The craic was great too! All the best Gary for any future classes - you’ve given me the encouragement I needed to get off the couch!

Great for the mind, body and soul! Gary has the perfect balance of pushing you to do and be more than you think you can with support and understanding for all your (real and imaginary) weaknesses. The gym is perfect, the results amazing and the craic is even better! A total star, can't recommend highly enough!

Gary really knows his stuff, puts you through your paces and knows the best way to help you achieve results. Yes it may be hard work but it pays off and I have personally noticed a real improvement in my fitness in a relatively short space of time since starting personal training and have had a lot of fun. See you all next year!
