St Paul's Catholic Primary School
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our school through this website and I hope that you will find it both helpful and interesting. It is impossible to describe everything about St. Paul's Catholic Primary School here, and that is not our aim, but we hope that this site will give you an insight into the life of our special community and the ethos of our Catholic school.

St Paul's is a one-form entry primary school for pupils aged 4 to 11 years. It is a wonderful family community, where our children are supported and encouraged by a team of committed staff, governors and parents. Each child's talents are nurtured and developed throughout their years with us, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Services
At St. Paul's Catholic Primary School, we believe that History encourages pupils to consider how the past has influenced the present, and how a variety of elements influenced people's actions. History also develops the skills of researching and evaluating evidence, the knowledge of past events, civilisations and personalities and the concepts of chronology.
If you are a child please follow this link to a dedicated page for you all about Safeguarding and available support. The NSPCC have created a dedicated helpline for any children or adults who have experienced sexual abuse in an educational setting. If you are a member of the public, you can phone Children's Social Work Services on 0113 222 4403, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
The gospel values are the focus of our school life, not only in celebration and prayer, but through all our work and in everything we do. This statement is to be read in conjunction with the school behaviour policy and home school agreement which are reviewed and approved annually by the governing body.
We work very hard to develop great partnerships with our parents and carers and we get on very well! We have an open door policy in school which means that we always endeavour to be available to our parents and carers. If we cannot talk to you straight away we always aim to do so at the earliest opportunity!
Please ring the school office 01132939901 if you are in any doubt. Many thanks, Mr Bowker. The Academy Council of St Paul's Catholic Primary School, VA is the school's admissions authority and is required to consult on any proposed changes to its Admissions Policy.

Although dated (I was there from 1958-1963!!) everything that I have done in my life since then has been helped by the excellent educational foundations laid at St Pauls. And, although my theology is now based more on the Bible directly rather than just religion, I still thank God for the faithful guidance this school provided me and my brother's and sisters.
2,4,6,8 - who do we appreciate?
St Paul's!
