The Abbey Medical Centre has partnered with eConsult to make sure that you get the right help from your own GP as quickly as possible. Every online consultation received before 4pm (Monday to Friday) will be assessed by a GP on the same day. You will then hear from a doctor by telephone, email, SMS or they will book you a face to face appointment.

Dr Siddiqi joined the Abbey Medical Centre in 2000. She studied medicine at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1994 and did an intercalated Bsc in Physiology at University College London. She worked as a hospital doctor in General Medicine and Radiology for several years before training as a GP.

Staff used an effective system report and investigate significant events and the working culture encouraged openness and honesty to highlight areas for improvement.
Tuesday extended evenings are for pre-booked appointments, collection or prescriptions and patient registration only. If you would like telephone advice or to see a GP through the local out-of-hours GP service when the Abbey Medical Centre is closed, dial 111 from any phone. Calls to 111 are free from landlines and mobile phones.
We are approved by the London Deanery as a training practice for qualified doctors pursuing a future career in General Practice. We have a number of specialist trainees working within the practice at any one time. Trainees are fully qualified doctors who have completed a number of years working as hospital doctors.
We endeavour to keep the surgery clean at all times. If you have any concerns over cleanliness please feel free to discuss them with our practice manager, Neha Shah, or any other member of staff. If you feel you have a condition which could be infectious please mention this to the receptionist when booking your appointment.

I would like to start my review asking myself if the abbey medical centre treats everyone equally?
As far as I am concerned the GP is a private clinic in which accepts NHS patients as well and in my point of view I did not feel treated as I should?
I am sure you will find there profissional with professionalism but unfortunately in my case I can tell? That was one of the most disgusting experience I ever had in my entire life.
I just felt maligned and defamed by certain so called “ profissional “ that DID NOT LISTEN WHAT I HAD TO SAY AND THEREFORE MADE THEIRS OWN JUDGMENT MALICIOUSLY.

My family of 4 (2 young children) has been happy with the practice GPs, they seem thoughtful and attentive. In the past we've had some administrative challenges with booking appts, etc, but it seems like the IT systems has been updated recently and it's quite easy to use the online triage and get a callback if there's something urgent. Generally a quite positive experience, I'd recommend the practice.

I would like to make a special mention to Bianca, Adam and Clowie from the reception at the Abbey Medical Centre.
They have been like Angels towards our family and our disabled family member. We have had many many details to try and resolve and the receptionists have been brilliant in helping us with everything. They have shown patience, maturity and respect every time we spoke with them.

I feel fortunate to be registered with the Abbey Medical Centre. I have always received the very best of care from the Doctors. The reception staff are always very helpful, and the new on-line system has proven to be an extremely efficient way to book appointments. I have used it twice during the pandemic and highly recommend it to those who may be not be familiar with this tool. I have no hesitation in giving this practice a 5 star rating,
