Services
We also provide weekly school swimming tuition for numerous primary and secondary schools. We teach small groups of children, from complete beginners to advanced swimmers on the verge of competitive training. Our youngest performers are 3 years old, who are joined in the pool by their parent / carer.
All children should be accompanied by a parent/carer, who must stay at the venue for the duration of the lesson. If assistance is required for a young child we would ask their parent/carer to join them in the water. Bookings are taken as a block booking for the course (usually 12-16 weeks long). Payments are made directly to the office and are taken via debit/credit card over the telephone.
We offer a range of swimming lessons for all abilities, plus adult classes, beginner with parent, competitive squad sessions and holiday courses. Our programme comprises of 8 attainment levels, with clearly defined criteria for progress from one stage to the next; supported by appropriate badges and certificates.

Our middle child recently had 9 lessons at another school and in that time didn't progress and protested at even going or getting into the water>
At his trial with Sarah Harris within 10 minutes of the first words being spoken to him by the incredibly friendly and encouraging instructor, our five year old had swum 4 LENGTHS !!
Our elder son is desperate to get back there as well such has his time there remained with him and it is great to see that they are finally emerging fully from the Covid Lockdowns and the shielding that they necessarily need to do on the Southfields site

Thank you Dylan, I have no idea how you managed to do all those classes, remember every child’s name, make each of them feel heard/seen and on top of that teach them how to swim. Hugo has absolutely LOVED his weeks lessons. He’s improved so much. Anou too, she has enjoyed it so much and loved all the races. Thank you so much, hope you are taking a long well earned break.

Simply fantastic in every way that matters for teaching kids to swim, grow in confidence and have a great time.
No matter which teacher our kids had as they progressed through the grades, they were taught with skill, enthusiasm and expert insight.
We were referred here and have referred countless others as a result of our own experiences. I really can’t think of what else you could want. Except perhaps a magical service that awakes and takes the kids early on a weekend morning :-)

Great swimming school. My daughter went there many years ago and her progress was outstanding. my severely dyslexic son goes there now and it's amazing the progress he's made. He is not keen on any activities and we struggle to find something that he was willing to try. He had a few wobbles in the beginning but the teachers were very encouraging. the teachers are amazing, my son's confidence has increased so much and it has been a pleasure to see him flourish there.

All three of our children have become confident and strong swimmers with the swim school. Their encouraging approach helped enormously when they started age 3 (as did the warmth of the pool!) and differed from all other swimming lessons they’d tried before that or that I’ve seen subsequently. I wholeheartedly recommend them especially for diffident swimmers of any age.

I am SO pleased with The Swim School. Really excellent teachers, warm pool, 45minute lessons. My daughter is doing weekly classes, and has just completed a fast track course (really good value for money) and she's making excellent progress. More importantly, she is feeling confident about swimming and really looks forward to her classes! Great set up!

My 2 girls have been swimming at The Swim School in Bracknell for the past 3 years. Initially we decided that they would only do it until they learned to competently swim ( this was a achieved in their first few months) however as they enjoyed it so much that we’ve have let them continue . They are progressing through the classes well. The classes are 45 minutes instead of the standard 30 minutes, and they actually swim for the entire duration of the class.
Huss, Elliot and the rest of the team of swim teachers are amazing, friendly and approachable and to be honest they more seem like family

My 4 year old has been taught at The Sarah Harris School of Swimming for the last 6 months and she has loved every minute! At first, she was very nervous of getting in the water with not much previous swimming experience but after her first lesson she was made to feel so comfortable I could tell week after week her confidence grew. Would definitely recommend this swim school to anyone who has a little one who is not hugely confident as they will learn lots and have fun whilst doing it!
