Services
MC Academy (formerly known as MCSE - Manchester Central School of English) is an English Language Academy with a passion for teaching an excellent level of education. Our school first opened in Manchester city centre in 2005 and has continued to provide year-round English language courses to adults and young learners ever since.
Current classes at MC Academy. Available classes include General English, IELTS Exam Preparation, Cambridge Skills, language workshops and more! If you see a class or a course on our schedule that you are interested in studying and would like to attend that class or course, then please feel free to apply.
Our internships are offered year-round. Some of our Interns stay for 3 weeks, whilst others stay for a number of months, the duration of your internship is up to you! We are looking for intelligent and enthusiastic interns to join our academic team. If you think you would be a good fit for our team, then please enquire and one of our friendly staff members will get back to you.
Online lessons are available to all prospective students who wish study an English language course at MC Academy. Our online lessons are taught live and our teachers provide students with instant feedback during their lesson. Travel - Learn from the comfort of your own home. You do not need to worry about being late to class, you may study easily from behind your computer or phone screen.
Our staff are passionate about providing a secure and stimulating learning experience for students. Our teachers are qualified, and culturally-sensitive as many of them have previously taught English abroad. When I approached MC Academy in early November 2019, I had very specific requirements and I was not certain whether these could be accommodated.
I lived and worked in the United Kingdom previously and I have been involved in a number of publication projects in English. Still, I wanted to address some specific linguistic aspects – issues that go beyond the rules in a grammar book.

I've been studying in MC Academy for three months to take the IELTS exam. The school has provided me a plenty of OPPORTUNITIES to improve my English level, meet new friends and know new cultures. The school staff behaves like a family and all the teachers are very professional and experienced...

I have been studying for about 5 months at mc academy english school in manchester,it’s absolutely great place to study and enjoy English.The teachers are professional and patient ,the lessons are high standard,furthermore, they always organize a lot of interesting activities after class for helping students to make friends and know British culture . I benefited greatly from this school,and highly recommend it for everyone who would like to improve their English skills.

Just don't trust any adacemy around the city center I tried already 4 and all of them want your money and nothing else, this one was the last one that I tried, they promised that are going to help me With my exam of fce, with review every week, samples of exam just for me weekly as well, teacher specialised in these types of exam, I didn't see anything of that, changing of classroom to lower levels because of their convenience, lessons not focus in your goals, don't waste your money and your time go straight for a private teacher, less hours but more worthy.

Fantastic services provided by the teaching staff and the management team. Msce is known for their dynamic and innovative approach, and their understanding of student needs and requirements. It is by far the best language school in manchester because it believes in student progress and achievments. My special thanks goes to Imad Ahmed the Director of the school.

Its unfortunate to see a School treating its Students and staff in such a poor way, the Director Imad Ahmed is not able to communicate well and refers to clients as 'Mate'

they lose student items and have no format for clear communication or organisation, its clearly been set up to target unsuspecting internationals who are faced with little choices when they have arrived and paid.
one the first day we took our student and were met by pure incompetence form the onset, followed by several more poor attempts by them to be organised.
I told them i would struggle

Really let down by this place. The course itself was not awful but the staff were simply terrible. They alone were the biggest obstacle in completing a month long course there. What's worse, I can see some of the staffs' names in these very reviews! Recommend anyone reading this to go to another school where they treat you with at least an ounce of respect.
