At UKEC Academy we have over 15 years experience in offering high-quality English language courses to thousands of international students. We are a British Council accredited language school offering a variety of excellent and affordable English language courses in a modern and friendly environment.
Manchester is one of the biggest cities in the UK. It has a large multi-cultural population, several universities and two very famous football clubs. Compared to London, Manchester is smaller and much less expensive but still bursting with history, culture and night life. Oxford Road is known as Manchester's "cultural corridor".
UKEC Academy is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English. This ensures that quality courses, accommodation, welfare and service are provided by accredited members. Prior to being called UKEC Academy the school was named Excel College English & IELTS Academy. Below are the previous inspection reports.
Each term is approximately 12 weeks and students should expect to progress to the next level after 12 weeks on a full time course. This is not definite for every student and other factors will determine your progress including attitude, attendance, application in class, doing your homework, self study and attending regular social activities.
