The Kindergarten classrooms place an emphasis on bringing nature into the learning spaces and extending play areas into the outdoor environment. We would like to say a very big thank you for giving A* such a special three years. We really do think the first 5 years are so important in our children's lives and we couldn't have wished for a better time for A*.

Established in 1995, Malone Kindergarten has grown from a small playgroup for 12 children to a comprehensive Early Years Centre in self-contained purpose-built facilities providing full time educare for over 100 children aged 0-6 years old.

At Malone Kindergarten we are inspired to create a natural learning environment inside and out filled with 'natural light, order and beauty, ' as advocated by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our environment and ethos is strongly influenced by the Reggio Emilia philosophy which was developed in the Italian community of Reggio Emilia.
Our ethos is also inspired by Maria Montessori's approach which promotes children's freedom with responsibility and independence. Practical life activities are also referred to as the heart of Montessori education. These activities are an increasingly challenging series of motor tasks involving practical real-life goals, such as cleaning a table, washing a plate, caring for plants.
I am a Mum of 3 children and an early years teacher with a BA (Hons) Early Years Specialist degree as well as being a qualified and experienced business manager. To open and run a Playschool and Nursery School had been a personal dream for some time - encouraged by my frustration at the lack of high quality early years education some 15 years ago when my own children were small.
At Malone Kindergarten we support you to take your child through each step of their Kinder journey with our specially tailored learning environments for children aged 0-6 years. Each dedicated learning space has thoughtfully presented indoor and covered outdoor learning spaces as well as access to our extensive outdoor nature environment.
