Perfectly located a mile from the beach at Rock, The Pityme Inn has been a pub in the village since 1970. Prior to that the site was part of a farm, then a tea room, restaurant and finally a pub. We took over The Pityme Inn in late 2018 & have been working hard with our team to make the pub the best it can be.

We have carried out extensive renovations both inside and out and introduced an outside kitchen, takeaway options and even a village shop! We work closely with local suppliers to bring the best of Cornwall to your plate and glass. We are passionate about locally sourced produce & where ever possible this is on our menu, from fresh fish, meat and vegetables to bread, eggs and cheese.
Services
We are very proud to have been recognised for several awards within the hospitality industry. Our team work tirelessly to ensure our locals and guests from further afield are looked after. We are also proud to support our community through charity events raising money for local charities and organisations.

Lovely place and very friendly service, highly recommended. It would be 5 stars for me if they were just a little more mindful about waste in the restaurant - asking if sugar is needed with a hot drink, avoiding single-wrapped butter, setting up returnable boxes for takeaway food. I'd love to learn if/when steps are taken in this direction :)

Lovely country pub with delicious food. I think it was the staff that make this place extra special.
Our waitress was a lovely bubbly young lady called Hana. Nothing was to much trouble and the service was brilliant. Thank you very much.
The Sunday lunch was amazing.
I would recommend this place and if you're lucky enough to get Hana as your waitress that's an added bonus.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Superb rooms at a very affordable price. Staff very attentive. Clean, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, very modern. The Inn itself is superb for lunch or an evening meal with plenty of indoor and lots of outdoor seating including private pods. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

My favourite restaurant I’ve been to in Cornwall. Wide variety of choices for food (so would be great for families) the staff are FANTASTIC which I often find is rushed during busy holiday times in Cornwall BUT they’ve always just been amazing. Tasty food, amazing atmosphere, very well priced for both food and drinks. My partner and I now make it a regular visit on our holidays and will be for the foreseeable. Can’t thank you enough for all you do, especially in these difficult times.

What a lovely place to stay. The rooms are really well equipped. Found the fridge in the room useful. I enjoyed the fresh milk. Only downside was the shower head, kept tilting to the right, but it really wasn't an issue

When we arrived the lady at the bar was on her own and rushed off her feet. She was very calm and asked us to wait and would then serve us drinks which she did. We took an outside pod and when her colleagues arrived she promptly took our order as promised. Great food, great surroundings and a high level of customer service made our stay very enjoyable ☺

Good tasty food from an inviting and wide menu. Great service from personable and knowledgeable staff. Switched on to requirements for gluten free which for me is a plus. All served in individual garden pods for 6 people. We were 11 so had 2 pods next to each other which worked well.
