Ronnie and Jane were superb. Being a business owner with only 1 year financials I did not expect to be able to get a mortgage any time soon. However, my partner and I thought we'd give it a bash and subsequently contacted Merlin Mortgages. Ronnie managed to secure an offer of loan and at a good interest rate as well given the circumstances. Due to the unique circumstances there was a number of hoops that we had to jump through, but Ronnie navigated these expertly and kept us in the loop with all of the correspondence between them and the lender.

Brilliant service. We were first-time buyers, didn't know anything about mortgages. Ronnie explained everything over the phone in just over 20 minutes. He has over 30 years experience, so knows exactly what lenders look for and their quirks; e.g. we have a contract car, so he knew what lenders are ok with that, which ones aren't.. so it saved so much time.
