Got ripped-off for £30 for a 1.8 mile journey. Exactly the same journey was £18 the next morning. Driver (Grey Volvo Reg HG67 SUV) spent most of the journey justifying his fare with bullsh*t. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Mixed experience in Edinburgh. Always lots of cars and easy to get a taxi in the city, but some prices were quite steep and Uber was sometimes cheaper by more than £10. Some taxis charged for card payments too.

Pre booked a taxi the day before for 640am , call at 640am to check where it is , to be told no car in area no idea how long will be , this was to get to work on time , to be told I should have left myself more time! Even though I pre booked day before so not sure how much time I should have left myself ! I kicked off as they couldn't give a time and told I was black listed lol thank god for city cabs

Car arrived early (which is good!) but clearly started the meter before booked pickup time. Also attempted to charge a £1 card payment fee, which has been illegal for nearly 4 years.

Am self isolating waiting for a COVID result and needed a prescription. The cab company I usually use for my own travel said they didn’t offer this service. I called Capital and it all happened smoothly and quickly. Many thanks!
