We have been fitting towbars for over 35 years so we can advise which towbar and towball is best for you. The towball may be easily removed when you don't need to use it, leaving little or nothing of the towbar to be seen on most vehicles.
To power most external lights on a caravan, but will not power the reversing lights or the interior functions of the caravan such as the fridge and charge the battery. The black socket will power most lights on a trailer, cycle carrier light board, and most external lights on a caravan. The grey socket will power the exterior reversing lights and the interior functions of caravans (such as the fridge and charge the battery) built before 2008.

Disappointing. Booked an electric car in over the phone to have tow bar electrics only fitted for using a bike rack, using a universal connection kit - all details provided at the point of booking, vehicle reg etc etc.
Drove 50 miles from Wiltshire to be told “won’t touch it mate”. Didn’t even apologise.

Messed up my vehicle coming there all the way from South Wales, they forgot to put in 2 x 10 amp fused lines to the Ryder Relay Module causing my relay to blow and a mistake that shouldn’t of happened.
I was furious and very unhappy, coming back from France all my lights went out on my trailer at night all because they didn’t put these two 10 amp fuses into the line.
Spoke to Ryder that supplies these units and they couldn’t believe how or why these were not used these important 2 x amp fuses that protect the relay, also a further 15amp fuse was supposed to be fitted too.
