Services
The company's origins were linen drapers but by the end of the 18th century it has begun to trade in sacks. The first half of the 1900's saw the company expand to five factories. In the 1960's the group moved in the production of paper sacks is now one of the leading suppliers throughout the UK. In 1978 the corrugated division was established to supply boxes, die cuts and fitments to all industries, principally in the North-West of the UK.
We recognise & accept our responsibilities for ensuring the continued safety and legality of our products to the food & beverage industry. In conjunction with our Quality Policy we achieve this by maintaining a management system that is certified against the requirements of the British Retail Consortium / Institute of Packaging Standard for Packaging & Packaging Materials.
We make corrugated products for all uses, specialising in short lead times and stock control for clients thus ensuring Customer Service is our priority. Products made include boxes, shelf ready packaging, die cuts and pads/fitments, with all products being both recyclable and made from recycled materials.
Increasingly boxes can end on supermarket shelves and accordingly SRP packaging is essential. We have two in-line facilities to print up to three colours for SRP which makes us efficient and economical. This type of packaging increases efficiency when it gets to its end destination, optimizing shelf stocking and sales.
At the Peter Marsh Group, we manufacture paper sacks for many different industries and applications. Our core business is with the UK Food, Flour and Feed industries but we also supply sacks for plants, roses, football kits, potatoes, and chemicals. All the paper used in our sack production come from sustainable forests and is certified for food use.
