Acupuncture is an ancient therapy for restoring balance to the body's natural energy systems. Acupuncture theory is based on the concept of Qi that is the life force energy in our bodies - Qi -circulates through energy channels or meridians. Qi is the power or force that fuels and drives both body and mind functions.
Chinese Herbal Medicine uses natural herbs to heal and bring balance and harmony to the body and mind. It is mostly used by a TCM practitioner alongside acupuncture as part of an integrated treatment plan. Herbal treatments have been used for thousands of years, and in China they are used alongside modern medicine.
Tui Na is a form of manual therapy, relatively new to the west but whose roots are based in ancient China, contemporary with the origins of Acupuncture. Historically in clinical practice Tui Na was the Chinese equivalent of what we in west would refer to as Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and other manual therapies including certain types of massage.
Cupping involves the suction of a glass cup, performed by creating a vacuum with a flame before being placed on the body. During a Cupping treatment, the skin's pores are opened which helps to stimulate the flow of Blood, adjust the flow of Qi and remove blockages within the meridians.

The warming and dispersing actions of Cupping result in a profoundly increased local blood supply to muscles and skin which provides nourishment to the local area and releases tension particularly in areas of muscle rigidity.Cupping is most commonly performed on the thick musculature on your back although it can also be carried out on other areas such as the shoulder joint.
There are many causes of back pain and a doctor must first establish whether the problem is muscular, spinal, nervous in origin or caused by a disease of the internal organs. Back pain problems which are caused by strained or weak muscles or sciatica can be helped by Chinese herbs. Acupuncture, manipulation or massage may also be prescribed, and ointment, creams or plasters may be given.

My First session, wonderful Dr Huang with her professional and knowledgable approach to your ailment really puts you at ease.
With 20 years of well grounded practicing, she quickly located by irregular pulse, noticeable changes on my tongue and with a few basis questions, established the underlining problem and concern I’ve had for many years and she was so spot on without any Initial input from me. I was so happily shocked that someone understood my pain and could help.
Finally the painless and gentle approach with the needles and acupressure was second
