PRT Motorcycle Training is a freindly, family run business operating from one of the biggest Honda Dealerships in the country. Customer care, satisfaction and safety is our number one priority. We offer all training from CBT to a Full Bike Licence and courses are tailored to suit individual needs, with professional, fully qualified and patient Instructors, making learning to ride a bike an enjoyable experience to remember.
Statistically riders who have taken advanced training are less likely to be involved in an accident. Advanced riding doesn't just mean being safer. We can show you how to get more from your riding, more from your motorcycle and how to make better progress without compromising your safety. If you ve biked before but are nervous about getting back into it we can tailor a course specifically to you.
Tim and Lorraine are both professionals and that is so important in any business. Lorraine helped me with what I needed to do and even managed to fit dates and times around my shift work job. Tim was all ways the professional giving advise and help when ever I needed it. You know the saying 'you can't teach and old dog new tricks' well he can.

I did a 4 day course with these guys with no prior riding experience and passed my unrestricted license first time. Couldn’t ask for any more from their team - from booking to the test day it was all great. I would definitely recommend PRT and the 4 day course to give you the best chance of passing your bike test. Great value for money and top service.

The best experience in a driving school ever…… from the start, Lorraine! polite and very professional with clear communication over email regarding details of the course. Stuart on the CBT made me so relaxed and made the day very fun. Well, Tim! Absolute legend. From the dad jokes to the sensible, professional, explanation of hazards and dangers which come from mistakes (which is all part of the learning). Massively recommend Prt motorcycle training! Great company for all your biking needs! I had little confidence on a motorcycle and prt helped me grow that confidence and taught me to ride safely! The lessons where very helpful and the my instructor Tim was very helpful in calming nerves, good knowledge of riding, great teacher and surprising a part time comedian(good laugh to take the pressure off). I had Stuart for my CBT, I think I’ve seen him laugh once but defiantly knows how to teach you to ride safely and confidently. Last but not lease lorraine, answers the phones with great attitude and

Made my whole experience so much better by the way the instructors welcome you into the biker family.
Having not ridden a bike before i was nervous to start, but after having Stuart teach me the basics on my CBT I felt more than confident when it came to doing my full license a few months later.
Stuart and Tim are always happy to have a chat with me if i manage to catch them in the usual spots doing the slow manoeuvre practice.
Would definitely recommend them to anyone from a completely new rider like myself to a veteran that wants to get back to it

Trained with PRT, unfortunately I didn’t have as good of an experience with them. My instructor was quite ‘old school’, his teaching style didn’t suit the way I wanted to learn and improve. For instance he would get quite irritated at certain mistakes, which did not help my confidence and of course I ended up making more mistakes as a result until eventually I dropped the bike. I was more disappointed than anyone, however when it happened the instructor was not concerned about my health or safety, he was more concerned about his bike and was further more irritated. First things first, would like to say a huge thank you to tim and stuart. They got me through my CBT and DAS in no time.
Both Tim and stuart did my cbt and both have a brilliant teaching method, put your nerves at ease and really have a skill set to teach you correctly and efficiently.
stuart trained me for my mod one and had me perfecting my manoeuvres in one day to lead on top a nearly perfect mod1 test at the end!
Tim trained me for my mod 2 and at this point the nerves where kicking in he really helped put them at rest with his sense of humour and friendly teaching

My chance to say a huge thankyou to Lorraine, Tim and Stuart for getting me through my CBT test. A great day and Tim and Stuart are both really friendly and make you feel at ease which if you are a first time rider definitely helps. I will be doing my training for my full bike license here aswell and I can recommend PRT 💯%. Give them a try before looking elsewhere.

After a brief phone call with Lorraine I had my three days booked with my mod1 and mod2 fees included, I was so excited!
Tim really is a amazing instructor , he is down to earth and very patient and knowledgeable.
After my first day out on the bike I felt so confident with riding and his teaching!
We spent half of the day on the road getting used to the bikes. Then the other half in a car park practicing mod1 manoeuvres.
He really looks after his bikes and has a passion for riding!
Day two came , me and another student passed the mod1 with ease

I found PRT Training through the Honda’s motorcycle training website. Lorraine made the booking process so easy and just did everything in regards to booking the test. I then had Stuart training and my first attempt at the Module 1 test, then Tim for my second go at the Module 1 and first (and only) go at the Module 2!
Both Stuart and Tim were great instructors giving you all the information you need and showing you exactly what the examiners are looking for.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to pass my Module 1 on the first attempt, but Stuart was straight on the phone to Lorraine getting everything
