Being able to ride a bicycle well, is an absolute prerequisite to riding a motorcycle. If a customer cannot ride a bicycle, then they should not even attempt to ride a motorcycle. If you have never ridden a motorbike previously or are a complete novice to motorcycling but comfortable on two wheels this ITM course is perfect for you.
At North London Motorcycle training we are authorised by the Driving Standards Agency as an 'Approved Training Body' and we can deliver your CBT course and issue your certificate (DL196) on site. When you arrive at the reception area your documents and riding equipment will be checked. You will then be transported to our off-road site and introduced to your instructor.
A 2 hour session completed after the CBT, to learn how to ride a manual 125cc motorcycle with gears. Session will be either one to one or two to one instructor. 1 down 4 up, you'll learn how to safely and confidently ride a motorcycle with gears. Understanding how to control the clutch at slow speeds, pulling away and coming to a stop.
Module 2 is an on-road test, similar to the car driving test. You'll ride through a variety of road conditions under assessment from an examiner following on a motorcycle. If you want to pass your motorcycle test NLMT are the go to people. All the staff are really friendly which puts you at ease straight away.

Having done 3 CBTs and more recently the DAS course with these guys - I can confidently recommend them to anyone looking to get into motorcycling. I had never ridden a bike before but had always wanted to get my licence. I started with the CBT and then did my DAS. The level of support has been excellent. You don’t just get excellent technical training from every instructor but they also support you on your journey, pushing you when you need to be pushed, but always in a friendly jovial and professional way. The front of house staff also look after each student, with care, giving clear instructions on where you need to be and when. Always friendly and welcoming, always professional throughout, with excellent instruction. I cannot recommend

I met instructors randomly on the road as they were teaching and enquired to upgrade my CBT to a full licence, and every part of the process went very smoothly. I did my Mod 1 & Mod 2 here.
Ive always been anxious about motorcycle centres because some can give off a negative in-club vibe making it awkward for people who may not fit the mould - But this centre has a village feel that is very homely and inclusive.
A massive shout-out to RICKY... it was his calm and personable instructions that clearly allowed me to pass. Rather than applying stress and fear, he teaches through

100% best school for training. I decided to do my Cat A and I done a 4 DAS course with NLMT and I can’t say thank you enough for their help and advice. Passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 on first attempts just before xmas. Very happy with all the staff and location. Good nice bikes also and got 10% for a new helmet. Thank you very much Ricky and Derek also for mod 2 both great guys ,friendly and helpful along with all other instructors and front office team. Thanks again , Definitely would recommend to a friend !

Thank you for everything! Got my A2 licence first time for both my mod 1 and mod 2, which is reflective of the great teaching from all the instructors, but also the enjoyable week throughout my training. Could not recommend enough - was a great pleasure. Special thanks to Derek, Rikki and Rashid. Really guided and helped make me a much better rider.

What a great days training at this place. A relaxed atmosphere and very approachable people always happy to help and answer any questions. The training by Paolo and others was first class. His approach was very relaxed, but also informative. He puts you at ease to aid in your training which is a massive plus for anyone just starting out. Thank you very much everyone.
