Services
Our aim is for every child to thoroughly enjoy being part of Chesham Primary School. We establish a calm, relaxed, orderly environment where everyone is valued and their talents recognized and celebrated. The school lies north of Bury town centre and east of Walmersley Road, adjacent to the Lido. It backs onto extensive field and woodland areas, has its own playing field and a large tarmac playground.
Bury Councils Schools Catering Service have got permanent and casual vacancies ranging from 10hrs per week. Hours of work vary from school to school depending on the lunch time service, but are normally somewhere between 10.30 am and 2.30 pm. They offer good rates of pay, a free uniform, access to training and hours that fit in with the school run!
We seek to demonstrate this through all aspects of school life and in particular through our commitment to every child, fulfilling their potential. This commitment applies to our work in the classroom, our pupil support systems, our recruitment and retention of staff and our work in the local and wider community.

This year promises to be a very exciting and memorable experience for all the members of class 9. The children will have lots more responsibility within class and around school. Alongside this, I will expect them to work extremely hard in all areas of the curriculum, so that they make the necessary progress to make the transition to high school an easier process.

My school from reception to year 6 and it was another home to me. The teachers are like your friends and they are supportive of you as well as being amazing teachers. I learnt so much from that school. They always had sporting events courtesy of Mrs Graham and other events -eg- ester egg comp, sports day, concerts, celebrations, productions... The dinners were lovely and the dinnerladies were lovely people. Mr Hudson the headteacher is amazing towards us kids and he is a genuinely nice guy to go and talk to and have a chat. I miss this school so much and cry when I think about it. I left last year

Great school for my daughter that she attended for 6yrs and loved every minute. Mr Hudson genuinely loves the school and all of the pupils, this shows throughout with a nice happy feeling to the place. Only down side is how some of the parents fly park whilst dropping off or picking up. They really are that gormless they don't care about causing a risk / hazard to little kids.
