Bromsgrove & District Indoor Bowls Club

We welcome new members and if you are new to the game, we have qualified coaches who will provide you with the skills to play the game. Coaching sessions can be arranged by contacting the club. Thank you to all the members (some who are not bowling) who have paid their annual subscriptions.

Membership levels stand at about two thirds the 2019/20 level and with us only using two thirds of the available rinks, this has a significant impact on the club's finances.In the next couple of weeks we will be undertaking a review of the club's membership list and would remind you that when we re-open you will need to be a paid up member to play in leagues, competitions or indeed just to roll up.

Bromsgrove Indoor Bowling Club offers a range of bowling for all levels. During the current pandemic we are trialling several new 'internal' formats alongside our usual leagues and club competitions. Please check the webpages in this area. In a 'normal' season we run a programme of friendly games against other clubs as well as entering teams and individuals in county and national competitions.

If you are fairly new to the sport, then Bromsgrove Indoor Bowls Club runs a Sunday Night Bowls Drive, and this is a good opportunity to meet members, and it is an ideal time to start to play in a team. You do not have to be a member of the Club to join in and play in the Sunday evening bowls drive.

Due to changed personal circumstances, there will be vacancies on the board of directors over the next few months. These resignations will present opportunities for anyone who is interested to become involved with the running of the company and make a real difference to our club into the future. It is interesting and varied work covering all aspects of the company including bowling, finance, maintenance, HR and company administration.

There are currently no catering services at the club. Hot and cold drinks plus items from the bar can be ordered and delivered to your rink or table through the duty steward. A 2nd coffee machine is on order. Once installed we will revert to self service for hot drinks to allow the duty stewards to complete their normal duties.
